As I drove the knife that I grabbed from Annie's kitchen through Steve's heart, I could here him muttering a few of his last words when,from behind me, I heard someone clapping. When I turned around I could see that the applause were from Mr.Tiny. "Bravo my boy. Bravo. I must say, that was a pretty amazing battle. Just...wow....Bravo!" Mr.Tiny told me and Steve. "Now, Darren my boy are you ready to rule with your'e father as The Lord of The Shadows?" Mr.Tiny asked me "FATHER!?"Me, Steve, and Evanna all yelled at the same time. "Yes. I am your father Darren. And Steve, I am also your father" Mr.Tiny replied to our yell "How is this possible?!" Evanna half yelled at Mr.Tiny "Simple really. I just used my powers to impregnate Darren's Mother and Steve's Mother. They never knew what happened. It was quite simple really" "THIS ISN'T TRUE! YOU ARE NOT MY FATHER! MY FATHER IS DERMOT SHAN! NOT YOU!" I screamed at him "No. I just explained to you that he is not your'e father. I am" " Fine! Then what does this mean. What happens now that Steve is dead?" "I'm.........not dead........yet........" Steve told us slowly between winces of pain and surprising everyone. "Darren. If you finish Steve off now, there is a chance that the monster within will not take over when you become the Lord of The Shadows" Evanna told me. "What? Really? Steve, just remember that I never betrayed you when I allowed Mr.Crepsley to blood me. I did it to save your life. When Madam Octa bit you,the only way to get the cure for the poison was to become his assistant. I just thought that you should know before I end your suffering." I told Steve "That is........Bullcrap........you had.....Creepy Crepsley........blood you.......because you........despised me......... I could.......see it in.........your eyes........whenever...........you looked...........at me" Steve told me in between winces of pain. "Fine! You can believe that if you want to! Just know that I was telling the truth" And then I pulled the knife out of his heart and listened to his last,and final,breath.
