Making my way through the crowded street as I stare in astonishment at the beautiful scenes that just a couple of months ago would be nothing but a fantasy to me

Right now I and Matsuo my butler are at the Kyoto Gion festival celebration normally I wouldn't be allowed to be here but with a little help from Matsuo I was successfully able to sneak out with him

Hmm while I've tried tofu before I'm a bit curious about whether or not the professional chefs from the mansion are as good as they say
"thank you, sir" I answered and took a bite of the smelly but delicious tofu Hm it tastes pretty good not on the level of Matsuo's cooking but I doubt anyone can compete with him
Walking around I get the privilege to sample different types of foods and sweets with Matsuo by my side
I wonder... Is this what a father would normally do, to guide and enjoy his time with his son?

Shrugging off the unusual thoughts Matsuo and I continue to walk around and enjoy our time together until sundown

That was the last thing I heard before getting sprayed by an unknown liquid

"PFT L-Lets get you cleaned up kiyotaka-Sama" Matsuo struggled to contain his laughter at my most likely bizarre appearance
"hai" I offer no resistance as Matsuo drys my hair off with a towel his movements surprisingly delicate and subtle

I knew that I shouldn't be napping in an unknown area but as Matsuo started to lightly massage my head I couldn't help but feel a little drowsy

As quickly as the feeling came it quickly disappeared as an abnormal static sound was heard its volume was probably enough to cover the entirety of Japan
Crushing any drowsiness that may have persisted I glance at Matsuo his eyes were frantically searching for any threats that may arise
His hand was rummaging through the inside of his jacket although he tried his best to hide it as we left the mansion I knew that he took a gun with him
My mind was running 10.000 miles an hour trying to figure out where and what the sound originated from
Maybe a new type of bomb? one that destroys by utilizing electromagnetic waves to destroy any technology in its radius?
Although that is a huge stretch I only have a limited amount of information as of now

Suddenly a murky fog covered the sky turning everything dark the lamp post for whatever reason refused to work
Matsuo tried to use his phone's flashlight to examine our situation but even that didn't work
Suddenly a huge amount of blue light lit up our surroundings a giant screen similar to the one they use in an auditorium was seemingly leavitating in mid air
