She woke up see'ing her man who said he was going to bed all over snapchat and Instagram stories which didn't sit right with her so she took multiple screenshots incase he tried to lie and sent one to him.

"You alright sis?" Her client asked her with her eyes still shut.

"Yeah." Shanti trailed off before sighing. "Just men." Even though the shop she worked in was a judgement free zone and enabled clients to vent as much as they liked - Shanti limited what she spoke on especially when it came to her relationship. She didn't need to hear anyones advice cause she definitely wouldn't be leaving Cian.

"I feel you heavy on that one."

She removed the tapes from the clients eyes which were red once she opened them. "Aw, hold on." She quickly got the fan and handed it to her client. "Just hold it there, it should be good within 5 minutes."

She walked back over to her phone to see that she was still left on read making her shake her head.

"How much do I owe?" The client asked.

"£55" She responded whilst cleaning and sterilising her equipment for her next appointment.

"Babe, I'm £5 short could I transfer instead please?" Shanti didn't take nothing of it since the client did opt in to have some wispy lashes last minute so she agreed.

"Yeah, that's fine." She smiled.

Once the client sent her remaining amount she got her things and left bumping into Cian by the door. "Byeeee."

Shanti looked at his hand to see that he was holding a white carrier bag. "What's that?" She questioned him.

"All these questions." He ignored her and made himself comfortable on her lash bed.

"Cian, your other girls might allow you to ignore them but I'm not having it." She stood there with her arms folded.

"Ah, what other girls Shanti I went and got you food bruv."

"Ok, nice but you wasn't sleeping when you said you were last night."

"The mandem called me last minute to go out innit."

"And since when did you start going out."

"Last night." He looked at her like she was dumb.  "Look, cirque's manager offered to pay me if I performed innit, nuttin too out the ordinary."

"Okay but you could've still told me." She released her folded arms and looked into the white plastic bag to see he got her stew chicken with rice and peas from tickle me.
