I never gave him an answer straight the way. By the looks everyone knew but me. “Oh” I replied simply. “Go on then!” Liam shoved him closer to me. Niall cheeks went red, quickly spreading round his face. He dropped to one knee “Will you marry me?” he said staring at my face, hoping for the best. I looked around the table at the familiar faces smiling at each one, trying to keep the tears back. Standing up I looked down in to his puppy dog eyes, taking his hands till he stood next to me. “Of course I will, of course.” He strapped his arms wrapped around the top of my back forcing me to stand like a bowling pin. He buried his head into my shoulders, his soft face rubbed against my warm skin. “I love you!” I whispered returning, the snuggle. The room started to echo with voices as they talked among themselves. I was led into the kitchen “I’m sorry I’ve been sneaking round, now you know why” he shown me the happiest smile he owned. As the night moved on we got more drunk and tired. I had too many glasses of wine, I can’t even remember how many. I just remember watching everyone dancing in my living room, and then the next minute I was waking up on my beige carpet.
As I opened my long eyes finding Zayn and Perrie on the sofa, snoring away. “But where’s Niall?” I knew something would be wrong because when he’s drunk, something crazy is released. I got carried away in the feeling I didn’t think to make sure he was okay. I stood up in complete silence trying not to wake our guests, brushing down my clothing I headed for the kitchen. No one was in there. I went to the toilet (you never know with Niall) no sign of anyone. Walking upstairs I heard a groaning, I sped up my pace. Looking in our bedroom still no Niall. By this point I was extremely worried I peeked into the bathroom and he wasn’t in there. There was one last place he could be, the guest room. I took a deep breath; I saw ‘The Simpson’ socks poking out of the bottom of the bed. I prayed it was Niall; I didn’t want the press finding him first. To my fortune it was, I sighed with relief. Shacking his badly dressed body he began to mutter “No” he repeated “Niall!” I whispered smiling away to myself. “Give me a minute” he rolled over, with a slit to peek through to the world. “What are you doing in here?” I laughed getting down on my knees. “What happened?” he questioned. “I was hoping you could explain that to me!” we giggled. “Nope looks like we’re looking for someone else to grill.” A few stretches, yawns and blinks later he finally got up. Appropriating himself Niall got on a top and shorts, his ‘after party clean up’ outfit to be persist.
