*This chapter Is dedicated to a friend that recently passed away. Rest in peace Tobi.*Michael paced around in his room. He felt restless for some reason, as if there was something extremely wrong going on.
It could have been anything; as an half angel his senses were more developed than the normal supernatural folks, and he could predict disaster coming far earlier than the others.
He felt the urgent need to search for something, what it was exactly he could not understand.
[Michael, your presence is required in the Council Hall. Be there in the next 10 minutes at max.]
A telepathic transmission woke him from his thoughts, he stopped in place while listening for the instructions Andrew sent him.
[Got it. I will be there. Thank you, Drewie.]
[Call me Drewie another time and I'll come there to rip your wings out.]
Michael chuckled at the image of the angry and small brown haired angel pointing his finger at his chest while threatening to rip the much bigger angel's wings off.
Their statures were a lot different, and so was their status.
As an half angel, Michael had to work his ass off with double the effort, do double the missions and recieve double the comments, stares, criticism and attention.
Half-angels were extremely rare, as very few angels visited the mortal realm commonly called Earth. They considered it a lowly, dirty place filled with barbaric shifters and supernaturals, as well as the ignorant humans that believed they ruled the world.
As for Michael and his father Toriel, they did not agree with this thinking.
According to them, humans were fascinating creatures to observe, they could come up with anything and everything, ranging from music to books to technology.
Because of this, Toriel often visited the mortal realm and fell in love with a human woman by the name of Jacobine.
She was an extremely talented violinist that travelled around the world and had a contagious, bubbly personality.
Her smiles could light up any room she found herself in, she liked to hug everyone she bonded with and was a really warm and kind person.
Toriel fell for her at first sight, marvelled by her gentleness and her talent.
They had few conflicts, only revolving around Toriel's real identity as an angel; the couple was tight knit and soon married, their deep love moving the people around them.
Toriel and Jacobin had Michael after a couple of years, and decided to raise him for the first five years of his life in the mortal realm.
No one could have expected for Jacobine to fall ill with cancer, and the pain of her loss deeply scarred Toriel, leading to him taking his child to the heavenly realm and secluding himself from the outside world.
From the age of 6, Michael started to show the strong resemblance he had with his mother, the bubbly personality and her smiles, as well for her talent for music.
The similarities didn't fade with age, and as he reached maturity he became a tall and built man, but also kind and warm more than anyone.
From his father he had taken the golden hair and his height, while the amber eyes and soft disposition came from his mother.
Heading outside of his personal space, Michael walked calmly towards the Council Hall. It was well connected to the various buildings consisting in the apartments dedicated to middle and high rank angels.
