Hardin's POV

I walk to the alter. Landon takes his place beside me as my best man.

"You've got this, man. You love her. All you have to do is  just remember your vows." Landon reassures me.

"Thanks, man." I say then the music starts.

We decided on "You Found Me" by the Fray for Tessa to walk down the aisle to. It was a good choice - having Tessa walk down the aisle to our favourite band.

Sophia walks in first and takes her place where the maid of honour should stand and then I see her and the rest of the people in the room no longer exists. It's just me and the most beautiful woman in the world. Her mother is walking down the aisle with her. When she sees me her beautiful blue-grey eyes light up and her smile widens.

When they reach me, her mother tells me to take care of her daughter as if I haven't been doing that for the past 20 years.

"Baby, you look beautiful." I tell her.

"And you look handsome, babe" She replies.

We turn to the reverend.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to witness the union between Hardin Allen Scott and Theresa Lynn Young in matrimony. If there is anyone who objects to this union speak now or forever hold your peace." The reverend says.

No one says a word. Thank fuck. I would be a new level of angry and pissed off if I couldn't marry my girl today.

"I believe that Hardin and Theresa have written their own vows to compliment the traditional. Hardin, if you would like to go first."

"Tessa, baby. You are one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I love you more than anything. I love the life that we have been and will continue to build together during our marriage. Thank you for always standing by me even when I haven't always made it easy for you.  You are the love of my life and I promise to do everything I can to protect and love you forever." I tell her tears forming in my eyes as well as hers.

"Hardin, I love you. When I first met you, I thought that you were an arrogant, rude and obnoxious person. But as our relationship progressed I began to see a kinder and more loving side of you. We have had our ups and downs but I always knew that I would end up here at the alter marrying you. I promise to love you until my last breathe leaves my body. I promise to be there for you through anything life throws at us." She says.

"Now for the traditional vows. Hardin please repeat after me. I, Hardin Allen Scott." The reverend say and I repeat. He says all of the traditional vows and I repeat every word as does Tessa when it is her turn.

"Now for the rings." The reverend says as Emery and Auden bring us the rings. Emery hands me Tessa's and Auden hands his mum mine.

"Do you, Hardin, take Theresa to be your wife?"

"I do." I say sliding the wedding ring onto Tessa's hand.

"Do you, Theresa, take Hardin to be your husband?"

"I do." She says sliding my wedding ring onto my hand.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss your bride."

I put my hands on her cheeks and bring my lips to hers for our first kiss as husband and wife.
