"That was good, I loved the way you sing that definitely was perfect" (Tyson gushed) making me cringe because he flirting to hard.

I watched Ashanti walk out the booth, and soon she listened to the finished song before they started mixing and mastering.

I was too busy texting on my phone to see someone was hovering over me.

"Is that phone so entertaining" (Ashanti said) making me look up at her seeing her eyebrow raised at me

"Aye I'm just listening to you work, I'm digging how you do your shit" (I said) with a smirk seeing her chuckle

"Do you sing" (she said) making me shrug

"Sometimes, I mean I enjoy it of course but I be focusing more on art and customizing cars" (I said) seeing her nod slowly

"Ashanti when you ready we can look through more beats, I got some nice ones" (Tyson said) then glancing at me with a glare making Ashanti shake her head.

"Okay play some beats and Y/n and I will figure out what good for me" (Ashanti said) making Tyson face drop making me look at her surprised.

"Nah you don't got to bring me in to this, you the music icon not me" (I said) hearing her laugh a little and let me tell you, it was the most beautiful sound I have heard.

"It's okay, I want you to help instead of being on your phone" (she said) looking at me with dominance making me gulp and slowly nod

We set there while my brother went through many beats and then that one beat came back up making me lift my head up quickly.

"Wait that beat you just played" (I said) to Tyson but he ignored me making me sigh and lean back but Ashanti butted in

"Go back to the beat like she said"(she said) stern making my brother go back with a huff.

When the beat played, I saw Ashanti nod her head and started humming.

"What you think we should do with this" (she said) making me open my eyes wide

"We?" (I asked) making her nod

"Yes we.. we going to do a song together right" (she said) making Tyson laugh

"Really come on she can't sing" (Tyson said) making me think about what she said not listening to this dumb ass

"Ight I got something, put the beat on" (I said) walking to the booth and putting the headphones on.

I watched the lights go dim then the music played in my ear
