I awoke and Zachery was gone.

"Hello?" I yelled.

"Yes miss?" Mr. Dawson said opening the door.

"Where is Zachery?"

"I believe he entered his file room."

I immediately rose from the bed and ran downstairs.i threw open the door to the cell block. I saw Zachery, standing head of a line of every young girl. When they came to him they bowed and let out their arms. He smiled evily, taking their arm and sinking his teeth into their veins. I hid behind a wall until he was done. He put all of the girls back into their cells and left. He was walking around the wall I hid behind and saw me.

"What are you doing here love?" He asked pulling me to his tough chest.

"Looking for you." I laughed.

"Really? How did you know I was here?"

"Mr. Dawson told me." He kissed my cheek and carried me back up to bed.

"What are you doing?" I asked as he kissed my neck and arms.

"I know you know my secret. And I know you are helping them." He whispered in my ear.

"What secret?" I asked shakily.

"The one about my teeth." I felt them scratch at me. I leaned away from him. He came closer than before.

"Darling, I want you with me, forevermore."

"And I'll stay. Until the end of time."

"Your time ends, mine does not."

"No please! Don't do what your thinking of doing!" I pleaded.

"Why love?" I felt his teeth pierce my neck. Mr. Dawson came running in. Then I woke up.

I awoke in a fright, I was perspiring.

"Jessica? What is it?" Asked Zachery.

"Oh, just bad dream." I laid back down and tried to go to sleep.

"Come here." Said Zachery pulling me to him. I curled into his arms and sighed.

"Are you alright love?"

"Yes." I leaned into Zachery and listened to his heartbeat. It was slow.

"Your heartbeat is slow." I said.

"Do you know why?"

"No." I lied.

"Yes you do." He kissed my neck.

"What is it then?" I teased.

"I'd rather show you then tell you." He said.

"Just tell me then show me." I laughed.

"Alright, come along."

"Alright."

"I have a secret." He said as we roamed through the house.

"What is it?"

"I'm not the average person."

"Yes." I nodded.

"I am not a human."

"What do you mean not a human?"

"I mean, I am a...vampire."

"No!" I gasped. I couldn't think those things he does could be true.

"Darling I, apologize for not telling you." I began to slowly back away from him, he was persistent and walked towards me.

"That's alright. Could you please not be so close to me." I requested.

"Pleases do not be afraid of me, I won't hurt you my love." He grabbed my waist and pulled me to him. He kissed me.

"I'm not afraid, just nervous." I managed to say shakily.

"It's alright love." He rubbed my back.

"I don't feel like it is."

"It is I promise." He whispered. I caught a flash of his fangs. They sparkled like two tiny icicles.

"Please, move back just a tad." I requested.

"Love I can't do that. For if I do, you might be in danger."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, if I were to back away, I would want your enticing blood even more and lunge for it."

"Alright." I sighed. Still frightened.

"Love, I can feel the fear emitting from your blood."

"You can smell me blood?"

"Yes. And it smells so delicious." He whispered.
