RE-CAP

If only I was the one making her happy...

What can I do to make her love me again?

How can I make this right?

I've got to!

I'm going to.

No matter what it takes...

Then I saw her hold her head and shut her eyes...just like the very first time she remembered something from before the crash.

I just don't know what.

And I've got to find out what before Travis finds out that she remembered even more about what he did to her.

To us...

Chapter 23--Amy's POV

I remembered.

I saw flashes of images. A car. A Cinema. Owen. Travis. Aaron. Wait...Owen and Travis? They sorta look... Nahhh. It's just my imagination.

They did look really similar but I must have just been imagining Owen and thought of Travis. Weird! I hung up just before my memory flash.

I really want to know what set it off. I looked down at my phone in hand and tried to remember.

"Right, well...This phone...I don't really remember this phone. Wait! That's because I got a new one because of- oh my god...I shouldn't have remembered that. That's just...scary." I mumbled to myself and quickly put my phone away and walked off.

The next day we had a whole school assembly. Today is where we were finding out who has been selected for the talent show.

I feel sorry for anyone who's name gets called out, but then again...they put their name down for it...

"Lucy Hanish, Chris Forluck, and the last of the ten are..." Miss Kendricks started and the pupils started a drum roll with their feet.

Wow...

"Amy Spencer" she finished off and I sat straight up.

"Whaaa?" I asked to no one in particular.

"Omg! Amy! I didn't know you signed up for it!" someone a couple of seats down from me said.

"Neither did I." I said with an awkward smile.

"Well, you are so gonna win! You beat all other singers!" another said and I smiled.

"Yeah! You're going to win. Hands down." someone a row in front said.

"Thanks...I guess." I said and we then stopped talking because a very annoyed teacher was getting sort of annoyed at us. And a detention with them...is worse than being kicked out the school all-together!

After we were let out of the main hall people still came up to me saying that I would win the show. But what am I going to sing? Should I write something? Or just use a song that everyone knows? This is hard!

How often should I practise? Jeez! OK, I've got it. During my free, I will think of a song. Sorted!

The first half of my morning was pretty cut and dry. I had a pop quiz in Bio-Chem which I'm pretty sure I have aced! English was...Like any other English lesson apart from the fact that we played a game with a small foam strawberry.

We threw it to one another and we had to answer questions about the story we are reading at the moment. It was so funny and because the strawberry was so light, we had to put loads of effort in to throwing it across the room!

But I have to admit, it was much better than P.E because we had to do cross country ( -_- )

And now...Lunch!!! I walked to the lunch line which was only around 10 people long. "Hey Amy" someone said from behind. I turned around to be face to face with Aaron.

"Oh, hey" I said with a small smile.

"So... how's life?" Aaron asked.

"It's alright." I said with a small laugh. "And you?" I asked him and he shrugged.

"Been better" he said with a weak smile.

"Like when?" I asked getting confused.

"Like..like when we...were together." he said awkwardly.

"Oh, right. Sorry. Umm. I know how you feel but telling me that is not gonna get us back together." I said and he nodded.

"I know, I just wanted you to know." he said and I frowned.

"Umm, do you want to sit with me today?" I asked and he looked at me and a grin spread across his face.

"Nahh, I'm good." he said trying to play it cool.

"OK, that's fine. See ya!" I said to him and walked towards my table.

1.

"Wait!" he said and I turned with a smirk on my face. "Maybe I can, for today. You know, if that's OK." he said shyly and I gestured with my head for him to go to my table.

"Thanks. But I can't do this too often, cuz there are a lot of girls here that want me." he said smugly.

"You think I don't know that?" I said as I shook my head. "But then again, there are many guys here that want me" I said with a smirk and he frowned.

"Who?" he asked, now annoyed that someone wanted me. But what's so wrong with that?

I basically just said he can date other girls, but I'm not allowed to date other guys? Whats up with that!

When I got home I went straight to my room and played 'Superman' by Joe Brooks on replay.

It got me in to my musical mode and I started singing along and after an hour or so, I began to practice the song for the talent show.

Which I still don't know how I got entered in!
