You were just getting inside the arcade going to your favorite game.

You passed the man who worked there.

,,Won't you say hello to the best Dig Dug player?" You said confidently.

,,I would. But I don't see her here." He responded as he was eating his snack.

You frown.

,,Hiw come that? I'm right in front of you, holding the highest score of that game." You said.

,,Wanna check that?" He asked you.

Your eyes widen. You turned and sprinted to the game.

,,What?!" You asked shocked as you saw the display.

,,751 300. That's impossible." You told the guy.

,,Mmm... seems pretty possible to me, kid." He replied.

,,Mad Max? Who's Mad Max?" You asked in anger.

,,Better than you." He laughed and left.

,,Mad Max..." You mumbled.

,,How can I help you?" You heard a voice behind you.

You quickly turned and faced a redhead girl with magical blue eyes.

,,You're Mad Max?" You asked confused.

,,By blood and flash." The girl bragged.

,,More like Little Max." You joked.

She was shorter than you and if you had to admit she was pretty cute.

The ginger girl frowned.

,,I might be little but I have prettyyyy high score. Oh, wait no. The HIGHEST score." Max bragged.

You rolled your eyes as you fought a smile.

,,You new in town?" You asked her because you weren't sure you'd seen her here before.

,,Fresh from Los Angels." She commented.

,,Hmm... Do you wanna show you around sometime?" You asked.

Okay, she was really cute. And funny as you just witnessed that. She was beautiful and she liked playing video games. She was perfect. Plus, you'd always had a weak spot for redheads with temper.

She scoffed softly.

,,Don't you have a score to beat? Like 731 500 score." She asked you.

You laughed shortly and looked away.

,,In that case... Do you wanna show me if you tricks you've got there?" You found alternative. You weren't ready to give up.

,,A good magician never tells her secrets." She told you as a laugh made it's way to her tone.

,,Good you're a gamer then." You informed as you winked.

,,Okay..." she began as she put her hands in the air. ,,You are good." She then added.

,,How about... tomorrow at 8 pm, right here?" She offered.

,,Sounds like a date to me." You said as you smiled confidently.

,,Sounds like private lessons to me." She said and grabbed her skateboard as she walked out of the arcade.

You followed right after her.

,,You skate?" You asked in disbelief as the girl got on the board and skated away.

,,No, that's my horse- Zeus." Max said sarcastically and left you standing there in the cold air.

,,She is amazing..." you whispered as butterflies were flying all over your stomach and you were sure your eyes were shaped as hearts.

,,Hey, Y/n." You heard your brother, Steve, calling for you from his car.

You got inside his car.

,,You're not falling in love with this girl, are you?" He asked you as she faked bad tone but was secretly super proud and supportive about it.

,,In love? No... Ew." You responded.

He just simply smiled.

,,Yeah... oh, I can't see from all these butterflies." Steve joked as he hit your arm playfully.

,,Oh, shut up." You told him as you smiled and hit his arm back.

He then just started the car and left the arcade parking lot. But the thought of Max never left your mind.
