You don't take any weapons for the reason that they wouldn't be usable in the dream world. You get the best sleep experts you can hire and begin training your mind. First things first, these monsters feed on fear, so you need to eliminate that factor. By getting the best brain surgeon you and your billions have access to. You remove your amygdala and go through long and thorough therapy sessions to better control aggression and to manage your mind. Once you got a good handle on that, you hire dream experts in order to perfect the art of lucid dreaming, it may not help. But it's better then not doing it. From such a long process you finally manage to perfectly make lucid dreams consistently. When you're awake you take judo and boxing along with stamina conditioning. You turn yourself into basically a slasher villian hunter. You have access to the best weapons, armor and teachings, a real life batman if we're being real. Except instead of protecting a city, you're hunting down supernatural creatures.
With all of this established you head down to elm Street and rent a house, you got it really cheap because of all the murders.
