Jamie POV: (FEMALE LEAD)
(Prologue)
Jamie was just finishing up her college exam papers, when the bell rang. She had just managed to complete everything and so she felt proud of herself. She has always been a straight A student, which makes it easier to get into a college, but at the same time harder to choose which one.
She had decided to study painting which she has always been fond of.
But now that the entrance exams were all over, she finally could enjoy her summer break.
Normally she would go some where with her family every year, but this year she will go to france with her friends.

"Toothbrush, check! Laptop, check.."
Hmm.. What else?
She thought to herself.
Packing for long and oversee trips was always an exciting but stressful time for Jamie.
After she gets back from france, she is planning to move out into her own place.
"Sweetie, you must be exhausted from all this packing.." My mother interrupted, while looking at the enormous pile of clothes I had pulled out of my closet and had thrown across my bed. "Why don't you come downstairs for some tea?"
I nodded and happily followed her to the dining room. My mother made the best treats for tea, since she does own a bakery. And not just a small one, but a whole chain of them.My father helps her out. That's what my parents usually do, but today was Saturday, which usually meant they had some time off.
"Where's father?"
"He went to the office today, despite it being Saturday.." My mother mumbled, "He really shouldn't have, but I guess he always gets bored without working."
I gave her a look that said "oh ok"
"Now come, let's eat!"
She happily agreed.

Today is the day we are leaving to France. I'm super excited for it.
"Jamie, hurry up! We'll be late!"
One of my friends, Samantha shouted.
"Coming!"
I shouted back, whilst hurrying out of the house. My mother chasing after me, carrying bags I had forgotten and making sure I had packed everything essential.
She even started counting down all the things she found on a website called "Everything one must take to France"
I nodded at her in agreement, but continued running to the car.
"Bye, dear! Have fun!"
She shouted just before I shut the taxi door.
"So are you excited?"
Samantha asked.
"Yes! I'm totally pumped for this trip!"
I giggled.
"Same!"
It got quiet for a moment. But then.
"You know..."
She smirked as I looked up at her.
"How about getting yourself a french boy.." He grin widened. "I heard they're real good in.." I cut her off.
I am a Christian and never really was interested in dating or anything like that. Despite my bff who was desperately trying to get me to find a guy.
But I'm not gonna lie, that I'm not at all hoping to bump into that guy in france. I guess it's all up to the Lord.
•°•
At the airport we met up with Christine and Florence. Those two were close to being my bffs.
We boarded the plane in the evening and landed at around noon. I could barely sleep on the plane.
We arrived and the first thing we did was getting our baggage, of course. And then our next task was figuring out how to get to our hotel.
"Let's go!"
