"You didn't see that coming" Pietro says while smiling then falls on the floor infront of Clint. Steve takes Pietro to the boat while Clint takes the kid to his mother and rushes to the boat. Clint sees Pietro's body on the boat and sits down while looking at his body "it should've been me who got hit,not you" Clint thought to himself. The avengers came later,Wanda,Clint,and Natasha were the ones who were mostly worried. At the hospital,they wait for hours for Pietro's surgery to be over,a nurse says "He is in a coma but we're not sure for how long" they have to go and live there lives until Pietro wakes up. Clint takes care of Wanda checking up on her because he knows that is what Pietro would like. He can't sleep,he tosses and turns but no sleep,he looks over to his window and sees the curtains that Pietro loved. "Pietro" Clint whispered to himself,the thought of Pietro made him silently cry. He barely got any sleep that night,he woke up and made breakfast for Natasha,Wanda,and himself and headed to training,while training,he saw a tree that Pietro used to climb to watch Clint Train. Tears felled Clint's eyes,but he continued training,soon he went and took a shower,he ate dinner soon after and went to check on Wanda,"she is asleep" Natasha said and he headed back to his room to sleep. He still can't sleep,he turns around and sees a tall figure that looks like Pietro but fades away eventually,it was just his eyes playing tricks on him. He ends up crying himself to sleep,he visits Pietro after his showers and then comes back home to eat since he wakes up much more earlier now.

He wasn't getting enough sleep and he would cry whenever he thought of Pietro and it said on his face that he wasn't doing well and Natasha noticed. "Are you ok" She asks,Clint nods "I can tell your not,he'll be fine,don't worry" she says and walks off. Before he went to train,he checked on Wanda watching TV and headed off to train,he checked up on Wanda before his shower,before going to visit Pietro and before he went to sleep. Wanda appreciated what Clint was doing for her but she was starting to worry about him,he seemed tired and blood shot. She knew he wasn't getting enough sleep and decided to put a sleeping spell on him without him realizing,every time he goes to sleep but she couldn't do anything about him crying but she understood his pain and so did Natasha. His routine never changed except when he went to get groceries,it was difficult for him to live his life without Pietro but he had to anyway.
