Ellis paced up and down outside the holding area nervously. She allowed herself to do it twice before stopping closing her eyes gathering her thoughts and locking any negativity away telling herself this was no different to other interviews she had conducted for years and she should be fine. Besides what the worst that could happen. Carefully she patted her hair making sure it was tucked behind her ears and nodded to herself.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Sam Wilson lent towards Steve Rogers as they watched on the cameras. Tony Stark placed a hand on the woman's and tried to encourage her. Breathing deeply she picked up the tray and nodded. Stark opened the door and winked at her.
Loki watched as the woman walked into the outside area of his cell and smiled to himself. He was here because his father had agreed to SHIELDS request that he help them find the tesseract. But nobody had said he couldn't have a little fun whilst doing it and this woman had intrigued him. When she had hesitated but still pulled him out of the plane he knew he had found someone he wanted to corrupt. Loki wasn't sure what he would do but he knew it would be glorious.
"So you have information to give to SHIELD and you decided I should be your pet human while you give it to them" the woman spoke as she placed the tea tray in front of him. "I must admit I needed to find a new job and as Stark is paying me a ridiculous amount to relocate from London to New York I suppose I should be grateful to you. Sugar?" Wordlessly Loki nodded and she dumped two spoonfuls in his tea cup.
"Are you not having any?" He asked as she sat down.
"God no vile stuff. I'll have a coffee on the way back to the extremely expensive flat Starks found me to live in" Ellis sighed leaning casually on the table.
"I want you living at the Tower" Loki snarled. Ellis raised an eyebrow "or I'm not going to cooperate" Ellis glanced at the camera and shrugged. "And whose Dennis?" Immediately Ellis started thinking of chess games and football matches anything but her own life. With a slight smile she opened her note book and began asking the extensive list of questions she had devised with Stark. Some seemed completely unrelated to the topic but these were to help her build a baseline to see whether he was telling the truth.
