Kat POV

There wasn't much happening today, so I decided to walk the fence line to see if I needed to fix any of it. It was gonna be a long walk for sure, but the trees are too dense near the fence to drive a four wheeler or anything. Luckily I still have enough room to use a sledge hammer though.
"You know, you didn't need to follow me," I said to Ravage. The big cat followed me when he saw what I had grabbed from the garage.
"Yes, but it also would not be good if you were to blackout and we do not know where you are," Ravage commented. True, I still don't know my limit, even though it has been quite a few years since my overworking blackouts started. In other words, if I overwork myself I will blackout, sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes a few days. You'd think this would get better thanks to the power of the AllSpark, but no, instead I think it got worse, mostly because my blackouts became harder to predict. One moment I'll seem fine, the next moment my legs and arms give out and my five senses shut off. Fun times.
(I actually have blackouts in real life. They are not that frequent though and I can usually tell when they are about to happen because I become queasy before my arms and legs give out.)
I sighed and kept walking past the T-posts and shaking them.
"Oh, there's a loose t-post," I say as I hit it back into the ground with the sledge hammer. As I finally have it hammered in, I hear a distant noise.
"What was that?," I asked.
"Sounds like a cry," Ravage replies.
"Hmm, wonder what animal is getting attacked now," I commented. I mean I live in the woods, and well there is an ecosystem right outside my window so I started getting used to crys. I continued to walk forward and I realized as I continued to walk that way, the cry got louder.
"Great, I'm gonna have to witness an animal dying and/or its corpse," I mumble, continuing forward. As the cry got closer I realized that it wasn't a cry from an animal, but a cry from a baby. The movement of my body quickened, why was there a baby out here? Who the fuck, dropped a baby off deep into the woods? I arrive at the area where the cry is in front of me and see not only a baby but also a small child. I waved at Ravage telling him to stay where he was and looked back towards the children. I put the sledgehammer against a tree and slowly walk towards the kids.
I'm gonna hurt someone for sure. The land that touched the fence on this side was a park. A park that had trails, now obviously the nearest trail to my fence was a pretty good walk away, and my blood just began to boil. Cause this is no logical reason to why a small child would be tasked with holding their baby sibling if it weren't for them to both get lost and die. I calmed my inner thoughts and crouched down to the kids level.
"Hello, what are you doing out here?," I asked, keeping my voice as sweet and quiet as it could be. The small child looked up at me, scared. The child was so dirty and the blanket wrapped around the baby was also very dirty. They had to have been out here for a while.
"I'm, I'm, I'm sorry. We were just hungry. I, I, I didn't know it was yours," the kid shook as they spoke. I noticed the blueish-purple around the kid's lips, and then took notice of the huckleberry bush behind them. This kid was scared that I was mad at them for trying to survive, who did this?
"No, I'm not mad at that. I'm just wondering why you and your sibling are out here all dirty. When was the last time you ate anything?," I asked. The kid seemed a little relieved, but still stood at a distance.
"I don't know," they answered. I smiled a bit at them.
"Do you have a name?," I asked. They looked up at me and then back down at their sibling.
"Mom said my name was Mathew and my little sister's name is Jesse," Mathew said as he looked back up at me.
"How did you end up here? Did you get lost?," I asked. The boy stood in silence, I noticed he looked like he was gonna cry.
"Hey, hey, you don't have to tell me. I was just wondering how you ended up here," I said, softly.
"Daddy said he didn't want us anymore. He always said mom died because of us," Mathew blurted out as he started to sob. Him starting to sob made Jesse start crying again. I got closer to them and pulled Mathew into my chest. That's horrible, I always heard these stories, but to see someone who is actually going through it.
I let him cry until he finally stopped, his sister stopped crying when he did.
"Hey, how would you like something warm to eat? If you're eating wild berries you must be hungry," I said. Mathew pulled his head out of my chest and looked up with his still puffy eyes.
"Really?," he questioned.
"Really," I answered, "but you gotta keep a secret." I held up my finger to my mouth and made a shush tone. He looked up at me and smiled a bit.
"I promise to keep a secret," he said, following the movements I made, also putting his finger up to his mouth in a shush tone. I looked back towards Ravage and smiled. I scooped the kid and his sister up and turned around. I walked over to Ravage.
"This is Ravage, and he is a friend of mine. There are also others that look similar but not similar to him. No one outside of us must know about them," I said in a shush tone as I lowered him down to see Ravage.
"Woah," Mathew whispers in awe.
"Now let's head home. I'll finish what I was gonna do later," I said as I switched Mathew and Jesse over to my right arm and picked the sledgehammer up with my left. I started to walk home with Ravage following after.

I never wanted to be a mom. I can take care of kids, I'm just not a big fan of them. But at the moment with being a wanted person, it wasn't best to have contact with the government. Also the system that usually takes care of kids like Mathew and Jesse would probably just give them back to their dad. If they get lucky and actually end up in the system, they would probably just get traumatized from the process of the system. So the best thing I can do is try to not get them killed by the other Decepticons and/or Autobots.

I ended up having to go to the store for a few things I didn't have. I didn't have baby formula and it seems like Jesse doesn't have all her teeth yet, just the front top two. The bottom two are slowly coming in. The kids and I got a little lucky, because the other bigger cons weren't at the house yet. The mini cons were though, but luckily there wasn't much of a clash.
I bathed and fed the two the best I could. I noticed that Mathew was covered in bruises and cuts while giving him a bath. Their home life wasn't a good one, I'll make sure their home life here is better.
Once done, I said bye to Ravage and the others and loaded the kids in the car. Luckily I still had the baby seat that one of my friends returned after their kid outgrew it and I also still had a booster seat.

It wasn't too hard to find the things I needed. But I got caught up when I saw Mathew eyeing something. It was a toy jet, an F-22 to be exact.
"You wanna get it?," I asked. Mathew flinched a bit when I asked. He quickly turned around and waved his hand up to his chest.
"No, no, you don't have to get me it," he said. I crouched down to his level and smiled.
"But you seem interested in it. You can get it if you like it. I have the money for it," I said, trying to combat any other reasons Mathew might bring up before he does so. He huffed a small bit at the reassurance and turned around back towards the jet. He looked back at me one more time before grabbing it and putting it in the cart. I chuckled a small bit and we carried on.

When we got back to the house I noticed that almost none of the Decepticons had returned. I focused on the kids first. Putting the groceries away, setting up the baby bed, putting the new sheets that Mathew picked on his bed, feeding them dinner, and then putting them to bed turning on a radio and fans to block out noises. After all of that, none of the Decepticons had returned.
"Ravage, was today the day that they started the first step?," I asked. Ravage looked up at me and nodded. I hear the sound of a very specific jet landing.
"Lord Megatron," both me and Ravage say.
"The plan has officially started, be prepared," Megatron said. I smiled and looked away, I was kind of nervous. Cause how was I gonna explain I found two kids. As he walked towards the big building I followed after. Oh this was gonna be fun.

It surprisingly went over well. I honestly don't know what I was expecting. One thing for sure, I was not expecting Megatron wanting to meet the two. Saying something along the lines that they were gonna meet them at some point might as well make it a proper meeting. When the conversation was done, I went to leave, but as I made it to the door I was greeted by Soundwave. I saw the look of curiosity and concern on his face. I guess I looked stressed out from talking to Megatron. I always did that. I always stress out a bit when talking to Megatron, even if the conversation isn't important.
"Is something the matter?," I hear Soundwave ask. I honestly don't know when I got into a casual talking relationship with Soundwave, but every part of me wanted to tease him to no end, and well, I haven't been stopped yet.
"I'm pregnant," I bluently say, keeping the straightest face I can keep. I watch Soundwave's face turn into confusion.
"How?," he asked.
"I'm joking, but I'm not joking when I say I have two kids now," I said, my straight face turning into a small smile. Soundwave looked at me even more confused.
"I'll bring them to meet y'all in the morning, per request of Lord Megatron," I said with a small smile. His face said that he wanted to ask more, but he didn't. He shook his head and walked past me towards Megatron, probably to inform him of something. I really don't know, because I was more focused on making it to my bed to sleep.
