The lights were all different colors, and the music was loud. I stepped outside to get some fresh air. It was cool, keeping in mind it was October. This year's favorites dance was themed, the Great Gapsy.
I stand there with the wind blowing through my hair, the cool wind on my sweaty body. I run my fingers through my hair.
Ding...
I look at my phone to see Galiea sent me a message.
Gali: where did u go?
Me: i needed some fresh air
Gali: okay
I close my eyes and listened to everything around me.
Whoosh....
boom boom boom....
Cough cough cough...
I turned to see a guy leaning against the wall, smoking a cigarette. His hair, was slick back, and he didn't have his jacket on. The smoke exhales, through his nose.
He looks over at me, and smiles.
"Do you know what time it is?"
I take out my phone and check.
"11:47" I answer.
He walks towards me.
"Thanks, what's your name?"
I seem a little shocked that he came up to me. Like d.amn
"Jennifer, Jennifer Adrian."
I smiled because he was kinda cute. Wait, let me rephrase that, he was FINE. Umph
"Thats a beautiful name, Jennifer Adrian."
I blushed, and I can't deny it.
"Thank you."
"What grade are you in?" I asked.
"12th grade. What about you sugar pop." Omg dude, stop, just stop already.
"12th."
"Your a really Short gal." He said. Well there goes my chance. And she sticks the landing once again ladies and gentlemen, Jennifer Adrian, shortest girl in school.
"Yea..." I say akwardly.
"I like short girls." he says with a smirk.
I laugh a little, and see a car come in the distance. The head lights were bright in my eyes.
"Well goodnight Ms. Adrian."
He says with such, manners.
It was kinda nice when he called me 'Ms.'
"Wait! I didn't get your name!" I yelled out to him.
Holy s.hit did I just say that?
"Avery, my name's Avery."
What a nice name I thought to myself.
"Well good night, Avery."
Before he got in the car he nodded his head.
"Goodnight Jenny."
