"I see," Tobirama said as he nuzzled on Naruko's spine. Naruko was too tired to do anything, so she made herself comfortable, and her sleep was taking over her.
Next week
'Mission with Tobirama, I need to quit! For sake of my illness!' Naruko thought angrily. "Watch out!" Tobirama jumped on his lover.
An arrow came to the tree. 'Geez, that was close call....' Naruko thought as she sat up. Tobirama stood up and ran up to the person with a bow and arrow.
Naruko was worried and didn't know what to do. She has an illness that she should be worried about, and the fight with an unknown person and Tobirama.
'Sorry, Tobirama...' She thought as she looked at her hand.
Tobirama gave a kick to the person, and before the person could throw a knife, ice appeared out of blue and held him.
"Good timing Naruko," Tobirama said. As he looked at his lover, Naruko fell. "Naruko!" He ran up to her.
As he held her, he saw her hand was like ice. He was confused and shocked, that he held both of his hands on Naruko's face and made her look at him. Half of her face was pale, by coldness.
Tobirama understood that he was at fault. "I'm so sorry...." He hugged her tightly, trying to warm her up. "Please..." Naruko begged and she was coughing with blood.
"....let us....go home....." Naruko said.
Tobirama's place
Naruko opened her eyes to see she was in Tobirama's place, and she was laying in front of the fireplace. "Woken up?" Tobirama asks as he sat next to her.
"Now you understand why I asked to quit?" Naruko asks as she turned around. "Yea, sorry. I, I didn't want you to quit." Tobirama finally admitted.
Naruko just looked at him. "I'm Hokage, and, I thought I will not take time with you if you quit....." Tobirama said.
Naruko just smiled a bit, she sat up and hugged Tobirama from behind. And dragged him down. "You should have told me that before," Naruko said.
Tobirama just held her hands. "I didn't know what to say...." He said as he was lying comfortably on her. Naruko's face was on Tobirama's silver hair. "Next time, just try to talk with me. We'll figure out." Naruko said.
Tobirama stood up and lay inside the blanket and was hugging Naruko tightly. Laying her head on his neck.
