March 9th 1999
Even though he just wanted to play volleyball, his parents dragged him out of their house. He quietly followed them to the house beside theirs. They've got new neighbors and they've wanted to introduce themselves.
"Greetings! I'm Amane Kageyama, and this is my husband Hitoshi Kageyama and our son Tobio," his mother introduced them and pushed him forward.
"We are Xia Chunyan, Xia Guyuen, and our little daughter Xia Fenglin. Come on Fenglin, introduce yourself." A little girl with two pigtails and a strawberry print dressed bowed. He was staring at her volleyball mascot plushy while his parents talked about how polite she is for her age.
"Is something wrong with little Kageyama-kun?" she asked quietly because she noticed his not so not obvious stare.
He asked bluntly, "Do you like volleyball?" His mother heard him and told him hurriedly that it was rude.
"I love volleyball! Do you want to play?" He grabbed her hand at her question, forgetting everything his parents had taught him.
With shining eyes as bright as stars, he asked his mother, "Can we play in our backyard?" His parents were overjoyed by his sudden request.
He ran off with her to his backyard after her mother told him, "Of course just bring her back in one piece."
"Kageyama-san, I didn't bring a volleyball," she told him when he finally stopped dragging her around their property.
"That's strange," he muttered softly to himself, which she could still hear.
"What's so strange?" she asked him, tilting her head slightly.
"You call me Kageyama-san." he answered her with a serious look.
"What should I call you then?" she asked, slightly confused as to why she shouldn't be polite now.
"Tobio! I've always been called that, and why are you talking like an adult?" he asked, a bit more confused than the girl in front of him.
"Because my mama told me to be polite! Call me Fenglin, and I'll call you Tobio!" she told him.
"Fenglin?" he asked, puzzled, because he'd never heard such a name.
"No, Fengling," she replied.
"I said Feling," he told her.
"No, you said Feling," she pointed out his mistake.
"I didn't!" he replied to her, slightly annoyed.
"You did," she said calmly.
"I didn't!" he said clearly.
"Yes, you did," she pointed out his mistake again.
"I didn't!" hey cried
"Yes, you did!" she responded impassively.
"I didn't! Then I'll call you Xiaxia!" he said proudly.
"All right, Tobio!" she smiled brightly, and he felt something in his chest that felt surprisingly pleasent, and something he'd experience again and again that he didn't know at the time.

Hi hi sooo I'm still alive and I'll update a chapter once a month. I'm sorry I've been away for quite a while and haven't updated for so long because I've been busy with school and work.
