CHAPTER 4: We Can't

Third Person's POV

Dahyun went to Sana's Campus planning on telling her something.

"Excuse me, you are classmates with sana right? May I ask where she is?" Dahyun asked the two students wearing the same uniform as Sana and then they pointed the girl.

"There she is, the one sitting on the chair with book in her hands" The student said and Dahyun thanked them before going towards sana. He walk silently and then when he reached sana he pinch her nose, sana is facing her back from Dahyun.

"Ouch! Ouch! Oppa!" she shouted when he saw the culprit's face and then Dahyun just laughed.

"it really hurts!" She said and then Dahyun sat down beside her.

"What?" She asked when Dahyun just look at her for seconds and then pulled her in a tight hug.

"Ouch*cough*" Sana coughed jokingly because of Dahyun's tight hug.

"I can't breath, oppa" she said and Dahyun broke the hug and they both chuckled.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Sorry, sorry" he said in happy tone

"What's the occasion, oppa? You seem so happy today" Sana said

"Sana I think this is the happiest day of my life" Dahyun said

"Huh?" Sana asked

"Also can you not call me oppa from now on"

"What? Why would I?"

"because we aren't real siblings, I think that's why I already loved you since we were young. That's why I still love you till now" Dahyun said sincerely

"Oppa, I can't.. Understand you"

"Sana I also don't understand it before. Especially when I know that my love for you is forbidden because your my sister. But now I am free to love you Sana.. Not as my sister, but as a girlfriend" Dahyun said and Sana can't believe of his words.

"Sana" Dahyun cupped her rigtt cheek

"Sana, I love you so much" He said and kiss her. Sana cant combine any words to explain to herself what's going on, but then when reality hit her she pushed Dahyun away.

"Oppa, have you gone crazy? What are you doing? We are brothers and sisters it's not right" Sana said making her voice a little bit loud. She was about to leave when Dahyun held her hand.

"Sana, I'll prove it to you. Let's ask mommy and daddy later and listen carefully" Dahyun said and Sana left without uttering any word.

Hours later.. Night time..

Dahyun's POV

I'm getting mixed emotion rigtt now and I don't know what to feel and what to think.
Once I stepped up on our house my heart start beating fast. I take a breath deeply and then use my best confidence. I walk at the living room to see Sana with Mommy and Daddy helping with mommy's for sale things to pack it up.

Sana look at me and look back at what's she doing.

"Oh Dahyun you're here, come and help us so that we could finish early" Mommy said taking a short glimpse of me.

"Yes, mommy I'll just go and change" I said and then left.

Few hours later..

"Finally. You two rest now and wake up early so that you won't be late at your class" Daddy said when we finished packing the foods.

"Wait! Mommy Daddy" Sana suddey called them making me nervous knowing the reason of it.

"Why? Do you need anything?" Mommy asked an Sana shook her head.

"I just wanna ask a question, is that fine?" she asked hesitating and Mommy land Daddy looked at each other confuse of what is it that Sana wanted to ask this late at night.

"Is it true that Me and Oppa aren't real siblings, brothers and sisters?"Sana asked

" W-where did you-"Daddy was cutted of by me.

" I told her. Mommy Daddy I know this will disappoint you but I've been looking at Sana as a woman for a long time and when I found out about this I took this chance. Please tell her the truth"I said begging at them.

"Dahyun-ah We lied to you, we just mentioned it to you because we don't want you to ask many questions afterwards. We didn't know that you would be like this" Mommy said making me confuse even Sana.

"Mommy, Daddy Don't lie. I know you're just saying that because you don't support me and Sana to be together bu-" I was cutted off.

"Oppa!" Sana shouted more like in irritated tone making the three of us shock for the first time seeing her get irritated.

"Stop it already. You heard them, right? Stop it now" She said in more calm tone andeft followed by Mommy and Daddy.

"I can't believe this" I mumbled on myself.

Next day...

I thought of going to Katherine, the one that Mommy and Dady told me my real mother, to confirm things that's confusing me. I planned on going there after my class which is 5pm. High schoolers here in Korea went home at 10pm, but Sana's schedule is 10pm on MWF or Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 5pm on Tuesday and Thursday.

After class..

I quickly went to Katherine's house with Chaeyoung. He's my Bro so he knows everything I know in this world.

"Who are you finding?" An old woman asked coming out of the house of Katherine.

"Uhm can I ask if the person who's living in this house is here?" I asked while Chaeyoung is looking around.

"Who are you?"

"Uhm we're her relatives" I said not sure of what should I answer.

"Is that so? Then I apologise. The person you are looking for is not living here now, she left days ago that's why I'm renting this house to someone else" the old woman said.

"really? Then thank you for your time we'll go now" I said then look at the house before leaving with Chaeyoung.

Third Person's POV

The two friends are oblivious of Katherine looking at them from the window of the house on second floor.

"You're right he will come here" she said holding her phone in her ears.

"Where is he now?" Dana said on the other line of the phone.

"I think they will leave now" Katherine said

3 days after..

Dahyun kept begging his parents to tell the truth but they always answer him the same thing when the day that he didn't expect came.

While he was walking home he saw Sana, his Mommy and Daddy putting their luggages on the pick up truck owned by Daniel's friend in mechanics. The three get in, Daniel driving, Dana sitting at the shotgun sit and Sana sitting at the seat between them.

Dahyun run on them and stand up on the front of the truck. The truck is not that big.

"Where are you going?" He asked

"We will take Sana away from you" Daniel said that make Dahyun stand still there.

"Get out the way! You're free now Dahyun. We won't get on your life again. There's a lot of girls around this neighbourhood but you can't choose our daughter" Daniel said angrily. He started the engine and back up first to avoid Dahyun on the front and then drove away.
