Part 2

I was walking into school and saw my friend Rain we didn't talk over the summer break because I was to busy dealing with the death of my mum and i didn't have the energy to reply to her messages,but my dad thought it was time to socialise with people other him so he made me go in.

I went over to rain but she didn't see me and she barged right past me and all her books fell out her hands. She didn't seem the happiest this morning but she's hardly happy anyway but something seemed off about her today. She was extremely unhappy today. She didn't look at me she just said watch where your going and tried to pick all her things up.
"Hey rain, it's me Rei?" I said in a confused tone.
When she saw me her face lit up
"rei...REI!" She screamed giving me the tightest EVER. I swear I saw her nearly trip right over one of her books but that's beside the point. She finally let go and asked
"what have you been doing all summer... why haven't you talked to me like at all I thought... I thought you might not like me anymore" she started to look at everything around us but just not... at me
"No no of course not you will always be my best friend... it that you know um  my mum died and stuff" I mumble trying to look her in the eye.
"Omg rei I'm so sorry" she said sympathetically
" don't even worry about it but I think it's time we pick all these book up now" I laughed. We both bent down grabbing all her books and placing them back in her arms.
