"I told the stars about you, and they were envious because I told them you're beautiful."
"Nene-chan, [Name]-chan, are you two okay...?" Aoi came back the next morning just as Yako promised that the missing students will return the next day. The two girls were tearing up seeing that their purple haired friend finally came back. [Name] quickly grabbed Aoi's wrists and hugged her tight.
"Thank God Aoi, you're okay." [Name] digs her face against Aoi's neck, sniffling in the process. Aoi's cheeks turned pink yet she didn't know why her friends were acting this way—she doesn't remember a thing so she's confused why [Name] hugged her out of the blue. She didn't complain whatsoever and returned the hug. "Ehem, I'm sorry."
"It's okay, [Name]-chan." Aoi reassured, still internally flustered by the fact that [Name] hugged her out of the blue.
"She hugged my precious Ao-chan—!" Akane broke his pencil in half when he saw that [Name] hugged Aoi.
"Easy Aoi, [Surname] is a girl." Yamabuki nonchalantly commented yet he didn't break eye contact with his phone.
"Girl or not, anyone who steals Ao-chan is a threat to me." Good thing that everything is back to normal since the missing students have now returned along with their belongings. Some of the students went over to [Name] to ask as to why she isn't with Souho anymore which was suspicious because the whole class knew her relationship with the moss haired boy.
"Oh? We broke up." [Name] simply answered.
"Then, that means..." The class looked at [Name] and Akane with a grin. "AKANE X [NAME] IS BACK IN THE HOUSE!" One of the students yelled out loud while holding up a homemade banner of their idiotic ship name. [Name] smacked herself on the head. Before she was dating Souho, her classmates shipped her with Akane because they often fight over who gets the right answers in Math, hogging over the board with their calculators for the correct answer.
The class dubbed the two as the real life rivals to lovers out of fanfiction. Of course, Akane and [Name] hated that. "That dumbass likes Aoi—!" [Name] told them. She doesn't even like that red haired boy, they're more like frenemies. The month without their classmates shipping the two teens was a bliss but it had to end once [Name] announced that she broke up with Souho.
"She's right! I like Ao-chan!"
"It's boring to ship the obvious. Literally half of the fandom likes two characters who are yet to reveal their feelings, they rely on fanfiction and get hurt at the end."
"Calm down Touko-chan, that's too real."
[Name] excused herself to go see Kou which Aoi and Yashiro told her to go ahead so that the two girls can catch up.
Kou was spotted talking with Satou and Yokoo near the lockers. [Name] approaches them with a smile on her face and giving them a little wave. "Senpai!" Yokoo's face brightened at the sight of his senior. Kou was also relieved to see [Name] so he and the light haired boy ran up to her. "Thanks to your lesson about Math—I managed to get a perfect score!"
