Chapter 1: Saving Cassandra

When Cassandra was born it was a miracle, but a tragedy when mom died right after making Cas. I had to run the clan until Cas is old enough to take over. It was a pain in the ass raising Cas. Its a year now and Cas is growing into a beautiful, strong, smart and powerful wolf. She is wild and fearless.

'Dami!' She said jumping on my back and biting my ear. 'Yes Cas!' I exhaled frustration and answered. 'Can we go to the falls please? Please!' She whined. 'Argh! Ok fine lets go!' I held her hand as we walk. There was something that the clan don't know about Cassandra. Cassandra is blind and if they knew she might of been dead. They believe that a blind wolf is useless. Nothing good comes from a blind wolf they slow down the pack.

But they're wrong! I can prove to them that Cassandra is different. 'We're here, aren't we?' She questioned. 'Yep!' She release my hand and walk towards the water. Ever since Cas was born I would bring her here so she know this place by heart. I would sit on a rock and watch her play and walking around. I was intended to keep her blindness secret.

*15 years later

'Cas where are you going?' She looked at me. 'The falls! By myself!' She said bravely. 'But' 'shhhh no ifs and no buts! I know you always come with me for the past 15 years! Im taking responsibility and go alone!'

'Cas you're' she rudely cuts me off again. 'I know that I'm blind! But I will be ok promise!' She said planting a kiss on my cheek. 'Ok be careful!' And I waved her and she ran off. I let out a sigh. I head to my room and laid back on the bed playing with a pocket knife. A loud knock came from the door. 'Come in!' I ordered.

It was Hunter Wolf! 'We have a problem!' He said. 'What is it?' I asked. 'We have a blind wolf in our pack!' He said. How does he know? He shouldn't know! 'Really!?' I said pretending to be shocked. 'Yes!' He said. 'I wonder who?' I asked him. 'You should know that!' He said as he head out the door.

Yikes! I hope Cas is okay. I jumped out of bed and shift into wolf form and darted off to the falls. 'Cas! ' I yelled. 'Dami!' She said walking out the bunch of roses. I ran and embrace her. 'Is everything okay?' She asked. 'No they know!' I whispered to her. 'What?' She said letting go from my hug. 'Does this means!? That I'm dead!' She said with sadness in her voice.

'No Cas it doesn't mean you're dead!' I told her 'everything will be ok promise!' She turned around and smile. I held her hand in mines. 'I will carry you somewhere safe!' With no questions asked, I took her to that safe place I told her about. We carefully parted our way through the forest.

1 hour pass......

'We're here!' I said with a sigh of relief. We entered the cave cautiously. 'Ok stay here! I will be back at dawn ok!' I whispered to her. She nodded and I left.
