Hayley's POV

My lips were dry from the fact that I have no water. Probably a little but just a little bit. Anyways I finally opened my eyes noticing my mum putting the books in the shelf next to my bed. I could hear her humming to her favorite song I don't even know.
"Mum, since I am graduating next month can I go to London for college." I said finally when she started humming to her next song.
"Honey, I really don't know about
this." Mum said putting my dictionary in the lowest row of the shelf. She took a step back and studied the shelf "Perf.".
I finally got up from my bed looking at the house next to me.
Riley Jones, my best friend right next to my house. I could see her looking at the window right at me.
I tilted my head biting my lip looking at my mom putting on the radio.
"That is my dream." I finally said to her.
I looked back at Riley again and she is gone.
I slipped on my jacket and shoes to go outside. "Mum! I am going for a walk!"
"Okay!' My mim said from my room.
I got outside walking over to Riley's door. Here goes nothing.
I knocked on the door and for a second I stood there. Finally Riley opened the door.
"Hey Hayley!" Riley put on a smile then she looked down at my shoes that were muddy. Riley put on a confused look and looked up at me.
"Riley, once we graduate I want to go to London.' I said to her slowly.
Riley's smile lit up and she nodded and said "I thought of that too."
I looked over at Riley's little brother Rupert.
"RILEY WHERE IS MY BASKETBALL." Rupert shouted through the conversation.
"Stop yelling and I would tell you booger." Riley told him in a calm voice.
Rupert went sulking to his mum. His mom would probably think he is telling the truth.
I finally stopped playing with my sweater sleeves and looked at Riley who is with a sad face.
"Riley what is wrong?" I asked worried too.
"School has changed me though.' Riley said and motions me to a corner.
"Look." Riley shows her wrists. They are cut with scrapes and blood smeared on her skin.
"RILEY!" I said jumping up in disgust.
"You do that too." Riley said and put her sleeves down.
"Shut up." I said rolling my eyes trying to hate the fact that I do that.
It is bullying my friend. Bullying.
"You promise you would not tell"Riley said as she pulled out her pinky to do once of those pinky swears that I sometimes never follow.
"Alright." I said as I pull my pinky out to link with hers. I should inform to Riley that pinky swears are for kids not to people who are about to get in adult years.
"But Hayley will Drew like you?" Riley said as she pulled out her phone.
"Probably not since I am like this..." I said looking down at my loose pants and my sweater with a little stain on it.
"But always remember you are beautiful" Riley informed me.
"You were listening to One Direction again.."
"Sadly, yes."
"OMG ME TOO" I shouted as I pull over my hand waiting for a high five."
She avoided my high five so she said "Reality ruined my life is my motto.."
"Chinny chin chins." I said with a tone.
But I like all if them but I have a soft spot for Harry. I wonder who Riley likes.
I wonder.
