John Doe kicks a rock across the empty court yard, in less than 48 hours, Joker and Remi will clash here and John knows that no one is coming home without any scratches, hes going to make sure of it. John walks further down the courtyard as he continues to kick the rock, making sure to not lose sight of it. but Johns eyes are taken off the small piece of concrete as he hears someone call to him, "Up here kid." the voice says, Johns eyes shoot upwards as he sees a man crouched down near the edge of a nearby building. "And you are?" John asks the man. The man stands up,and jumps down to the courtyard leaving a small crater, John could clearly see the man now that the sun isnt in his way. the man was rather tall, he looked like he was in twenties, he wore a bright red hoodie and a pair of black sweatpants, The man smiled, "My name...well lets see...." he cupped his chin and looked directly at the sun, the man stood there for 1 full minute without blinking, mumbling to himself.
John was getting impaitent with the man, "how long are you going to be staring at the sun?" John asked sternly, the man blinked for the first time since he started gazing at the sun and looked back at John, "Call me Ion" the man said, John crossed his arms, "Ion huh?" Ion nodded and extended his hand, "nice to meet you" but Johns whole body felt a sudden and massive pressure come across him, the pressure was so overwhelming that John was becoming lightheaded. "What the hell?!" John said to himself as he activated his ability. "heh, looks like you found out kid...." large clouds began forming above wellston, "Who i really am" red lightning struck the ground around the two, "What do you mean who you really are?!" John asked gripping his chest, trying not to pass out from the pressure, but then, it all stopped. the lighting, the overwhelming pressure, the clouds disappeared as the sun began shining once again, "well kid, id rather like to show then tell" Ion appeared instantly in front of John. then he disappeared, John looked up at the blue sky, chuckling. "You got a lot of power kid. and since you were so kind of letting me into your body, allow me to tell you i really am."
Ion Jumped on top of a building a looked out towards the world around him. "better be taking notes kid." the man said sitting down, "i am from a race known was Rubys, we are warriors, who have existed longer than humans, hell weve been around since the dinosaurs, and we live twice as long as you as well. we live in separate dimension that we call the Red Zone, our world works like yours, we have a day, a night, even our civilization works like yours, our power you see, is the ability to steal bodies, of course we have several other abilities that we have for combat but thats our main ability. and our power determines the amount of respect you get there, just like you humans. we have a low Ruby: people who are too weak to steal bodies and are too weak to actually fight, a Normal Ruby: People who have the normal capabilities of our race, to put in perspective how strong a normal ruby is, lets put one into your little tiering system, a normal ruby would be at high tier. then we get to my tier, a High Ruby or as we like to call them a Scarlet Ruby, we Rubys are above average and are able to enter and leave the Red Zone without getting vaporized instantly. pretty neat right kid? anyway, the next tier is a Cardinal Ruby, these people are......lets say very rare, these people are beyond your little tiering system. Cardinal Rubys are extremtly strong they can steal bodies without even thinking about it. Then theres...." Ion stopped for a moment, "the supreme Ruby, hes said to be the strongest Ruby ever, hes also apparently the oldest, i dont much about him since no one really sees him, some Rubys say there is a god of our race, someone who has the power to destroy everything in exstience if he wanted to, but thats just fairy tales, such person doesnt exist in our world." Ion sighed, "so kid, whaddya think?" Ion smirked, "thats right you cant here me, i always think my victims can here me but they cant, sorry kid. looks like i cant your answer your question." Ion closes his eyes and begins searching johns memroies, "heheh, i like you kid, your chaotic and fun, and you gotta fight tommrow huh?" Ion begins to laugh, "WELL THAT WONT BE A PROBLEM AT ALL!!!"
