Chapter 1: Invitation from the fox.
"Y/n wake up you've got work to do." Y/ns mom said.
"I'm on my way just gotta get dressed real quick" Y/n tiredly replied.
"Another day another huge pile of work." Y/n said quietly to themselves.
"I guess I'll start off by checking the mailbox since it's the most refreshing thing tho do if you count all other things I do daily." Y/n thought to themselves.
"10 mails?! Do people just not know how to keep their economy straight?".
"And why is it always the Arataki gang like how irresponsible can they be?"
Y/n was writing and writing down until the sixth one that was from Yae miko also known as one of the shrine maidens in the narukami shrine. When Y/n saw it they decided to keep it for last since they saw it more interesting and new than the rest.
After checking all letters and writing replies Y/n finally opened the letter.
"Hm what could she want, the even stranger thing is that she sent it directly from herself, mysterious as always Guuji Yae." Y/n said still a bit surprised by the sudden letter.

I have seen your recent hard works but I have also seen all trouble people have caused you, I know your tired and sometimes just get annoyed knowing all you will do is work, work, work so I was wondering if you were interested in going out and taking a little break, or if you want to see it as more. I'm sure that your parents won't mind as long as it's a direct request from me. I mean I'm sure you are worried about missing out on your work but you'll just miss out on more by overworking yourself. There have also been rumors about how the L/n family have been forcing their children to be 100% perfect and I'm sure you don't want those rumors to ruin your family's business so you taking a day off will definitely shut down those rumors. If you plan on going please come to the narukami shrine tomorrow.

"A break, well I'll have to inform my mother and father before I go."
Y/n quickly went to their mother and told her about the letter avoiding the rumors and Y/n wanting to take a break/ being annoyed by the amount of work everyday.
"You know I can't trust you 100% and in the fact that Lady guuji would write this but if it is true then the consequences will be able to ruin our business so I guys you can go." Y/ns mom said.
"Thank you mother for trusting me like that, I will definitely see this valuable and a piece of motivation." Y/n said lying knowing that they will just see this as another thing for them to remember.
A DAY LATER
Y/n woke up a some hours early to get to the narukami shrine in time. When they arrived to the shrine the maiden Kano Nana told them that they should follow her while holding Sayu on her back.
Y/n elegantly followed Kano nana to Yae miko but she wasn't there so she told Y/n to go take a fortune slip while waiting.
"Huh oh okay." Y/n said confused.
So then Y/n took a fortune slip and prayed for it to be rising fortune. When Y/n took the bamboo slip they saw that there was good fortune which was a good sign but Y/n didn't really believe those sort of commoner myths. When Y/n was about to go check the other places out they heard a voice.
"Oh my oh my look who has arrived."
