Holly's P.O.V.
"Holly, come with me,we need to talk about something." My boss commanded with an awkward wink. He had always had a 'thing' for me, which had always worried me. I was never the best looking woman around. I was plain looking. Dark brown hair, hazel eyes, a normal sized bust, not too chubby, not too skinny, hiding any part of my body with dress clothes a few pieces of jewelry and plain makeup.
"Yes, Sir." I took my FBI course sweatshirt off and swung it in my locker. You have to keep in shape somehow when you work for the FBI. Training courses help ALOT.
"We have a case. It's about the Buffalo Bill guy. We have found another victim, this one has also been skinned. We have yet to know what he does with his victim's skin. Or where he takes it. All we know is that all of his victims are women. All of which are around the same age. And look alike." He sounded hesitant to talk about this topic. "Holly, as much as I wish you wouldn't have to investigate this... I have no choice, no one else will take it and you have the smarts for this kind of case. I just hope you won't get hurt." He motions for me to walk down the hallway.
"I'll be fine, Sir. I can take care of myself and I can certainly handle a situation like this." The hallway echoes as I walk away from him.
"Well. There's just one more thing, Holly. You have to get information on Buffalo Bill from one of the prisoners here." He tries to not let his voice quaver. I can sense the prisoner is not your usual one.
"Who is it, Sir?" I start to think through all of the prisoners I have met throughout the years of being at the FBI.
"The psychiatrist, Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Now, I know you've never met Hannibal before, but, there are some rules when going to his cell. There is a chair set at the end of all the cells for you. Do not bring your face close to his cell, do not put your hands near his cell. You need to be very careful how you speak to him and here are the files you must exchange through the slot box." I began to turn for the stairs to their cells. "Oh and Holly....please be veeryy careful it'd be a shame to lose such a great agent like you.." I rolled my eyes in disbelief, what a sleaze.
I walked down the hall, seeing where my chair was located at in front of a cell. "Mmmmm... You smell mighty good! Hehe!! If only you were in this cell with me.. Hehehe!" One of the prisoners cackled. I grumbled under my breath and gave him a disgusted face.
I arrived at the cell with the chair in front. I looked in the cell to see beautiful paintings and drawings of paris and a lot of other different masterpieces. My mouth hung open in disbelief and surprise. Did this man, whoever he was, memorize all these details of Paris and the Eiffel tower!? The back lights to his cell suddenly turned on, I jumped a little bit not expecting for that to happen.
"Good morning..." I stare at the man in this cell. His cell was different from the rest. He was kept in by a large wall of glass, with small holes in it and a slot, to the right of the glass. I was stunned, he stood tall and elegant. His eyes were a pale blue, his hair was grey and slicked back, he looked good with grey hair, to be honest.
I nod to him. "Good morning, to you, Dr.Lecter...." He stares at me for a few seconds, before jumping back to reality.
"Did Crawford send you? May I see your credentials?" He questioned.
I nodded again and took out my I.D. I held it up to him, still keeping back from his cell.
"Clllloooser..." He said, a smirk forming on his face. I moved a few inches closer to the cell.
"Closer.." He repeated. I walked up to his cell slowly, each step moving with caution.
"That expires in three months.. You're not a real FBI agent, are you?" He smirked again.
"N-No, Sir, I'm a trainee.." I stammered.
He stared at me. "Jack Crawford sent a trainee to me?"
"Yes, Sir. I came to ask questions about a case we're dealing with right now.." I gave him a hard stare.
"Very well, Agent Anderssön. Shoot." He stared, he never did blink.. Although it wasn't that he was not blinking, it was a manner of being still.
I looked at my hands for a second then back up at him. "We are trying to get more information about the 'Buffalo Bill' case."
"Hmmmm.... Agent Anderssön, could you please explain to me why they call him 'Buffalo Bill'? The newspapers won't say.." I could tell he was testing me. The tone of his voice, the mockery in his eyes. He wanted to know how much I knew about this case.
My eyes showed him pure hatred, penetrating him with my glare. My parents had talked to me like that when I was younger. They had all hated me and now this... Man in a cell hated me and I hated him.
"It started out as a bad joke... They say he likes to 'Skin His Humps'." I explained my eyes still on him.
He smirked a little, but his eyes held onto me. I moved uneasily as his eyes searched me. "Now, Holly, why do you think he likes to skin his victims..?"
" it calms him..Most killers keep trophies of their victims.. Prizes.."
"I didn't." He cut me off.
"No...no you are yours'." I gave him a cold look.
He frowned and his eyes looked almost hurt. "Can you send that through to me." He pointed to the case file of Buffalo Bill.
I put the files in the slot and slid it to him as fast as I could wanting to get out of this place at last.
"I believe my time is up, Dr.Lecter. G'bye.." I finally said and walked away.
"Good night, Holly, see you soon." He winked and picked up the case file from inside the slot.
I walked out of the building, drove home and plopped down onto my couch, thinking about the man, the cannibal, the psychiatrist, Hannibal Lecter.
