When I woke up the next day, I knew something was off. My eye felt heavy, it was hard for me blink without wincing. I made my way over to the mirror after settling myself. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I could see that the corner of my right eye was swollen and red. After seeing that, I knew that I had a stye. It was quite obvious seeing as my eye looked how it did all those other times.

After realizing that it was a stye I had, I wiped off all the make that I worked to do the night before. When I finished doing so, I grabbed a rag and ran it under hot water. Once it was soaked in hot water, I wrung the rag and pressed it onto my eye. After I did this, I felt an immediate feeling of relief. The hot rag pressed against my eye made the soreness and swelling feel as it was no longer there.
I kept the rag on my eye until it started to go cold. When it was no longer of use, I tossed it before preparing for my day. My eye went back to feeling distressed as the cold air hit the sensitive skin that was my eyelids, but I paid no mind. Instead, I packed my necessities and went on with my day. I planned to hang out with some friends for the day.

After I returned to my house, I quickly changed into something more comfortable and prepared another hot rag to press against my eye. I believed that I could subdue the stye so that it wasn't going to feel worse in the morning. I was very wrong... The next day was something that I never prepared for. I never knew about the ride I was going to be in for.
