Joey Bassetti had a passion. A passion that he sucked at, yet a passion nonetheless. Doomed to an eternity on the bench, he watches and observes as his teammates score points after points. That being said, it was every teammate other than Sinclair. The two of them being new freshman on the team, they grew closer to each other in their free time... on the bench. Lucas Sinclair was special to him, he could crack jokes with the boy like he had known him his whole life, there weren't many people that could get this reaction out of him. So yes, perhaps Joey had grown a little attached to him, but it was all Platonic with a capital P right?
