Leaving the house I had grown up in felt so different, especially as I realized this could be for the last time. Stepping outside the door, I felt a break between my childhood and my adulthood. Walking to the bus stop, my usually friendly neighborhood felt eerie. Brushing it off, I decided it was just because I was so nervous about other things.

Boarding the bus, I somehow subconsciously knew where I needed to go and what I needed to do. I needed to go to New York.

I was plotting out my plan when the intercom blasted "Trixie, we know who you are and where you are. Watch your back".

And I panicked.

The disturbing saying was a hallucination.

Was I going insane?
