A few hours later we arrived at the police station to file a missing person report. Officer Dawson stopped us and asked a few questions.

"Who is missing and how long was he gone for?"

"My 16-year teen boy Jaxson and he was missing for-" Kathrine said holding in tears.

"10 hours he went missing 10 hours ago." I interrupted.

"He took us to a party, and we couldn't find him when we were leaving." Aiden added.

"Ok, but you have to wait 24 hours before you file a missing person report." Officer Dawson said.

"I have to wait another 14 hours to find my baby." Kathrine cried.

"Mom let's go home let's get some sleep you were up early this morning." I insisted. "Mom! Come on!"

"No, I want to find my baby!" Kathrine begged.

"Mom come on we can come back later!" Aiden exclaimed. We walked out to go home mom was dragging herself behind.

"Dad are you ok?" I asked. "You've been quiet."

"I'm alright. I'm just a little shook." We arrived at the house 8 minutes later.

"Mom you should go up and rest." I declared. I helped mom up to bed, her bedroom is the first door on the right. I walked out and shut the door. Everyone is a little shook we don't know what to do for 14 hours. I told dad and Aiden that I'm going for a walk to clear my head. I walked out and I don't know what to do or what to think. I walked about 2 miles then I walked to Chole's house I knocked on the door. From the inside I heard someone yelling coming. The door opened the door and Chole's mother Alice, she about 5'4, short, brunette hair, she has amber colored eyes like Chole.

"Hey, Mrs. Monroe I'm looking for Chole. Is she here?" I asked.

"Hey, Stephanie come on in. Chole is upstairs and you can call me Alice."

"Ok, thanks Mrs. Mon- I mean Alice." I walked upstairs and knocked on Chole's door.

"Come in!" She yelled from inside. "Oh, hey Steph. What brings you here?"

"Hey, Chole I know I should have called but, I was in the neighborhood, so I stopped by. But I have a question for you." "At the party last night did you see Jaxson? I asked.

"Yea, I have seen him at the party he was hanging out with his friends Elijah, Ethan, and Mason. Then he went to go hangout with this girl Naomi. After that I haven't seen him." Chole answered.

"Oh ok. I'm just worried he didn't come home last night." I told her.

"Oh my god I hope you guys find him I'll look around to see if I find anything." Chole offered.

"Ok. Thanks Chole." I said. "Anyways I got to go bye." I walked out and, on the way out, I said bye to Alice. After 20 minutes I arrived home. I walked in the door and Aiden ask if I was ok and that I was gone long. I told I was fine and that I stopped at Chole to see if she seen Jaxson. Then I told him that she didn't see him after he was with a girl named Naomi. I went upstairs to see if mom was up. It looked like she just got out of the shower with her wet mopping hair and she had different clothes on.

"Oh, hey Steph." Mom said.

"Hey mom how do you feel?" I questioned.

"I feel refreshed after that nap and shower." Mom exclaimed. After a few hours later we went back to the police station since it was a full 24 hours since Jaxson went missing. We filed a missing person report. Then we went back home after answering a few questions. The police said that they would call in people that he hangout with at the party.

Weeks went by and no sign of Jaxson. No one knows where he went or where he is. Policemen threw a search party. We went to every search party there was we looked in the woods nearby we looked around town to see if we find any clues. We also looked at towns nearby. There was nothing nobody knows nothing. Mom is devastated, dad is distance. Aiden and I just want this whole thing done with. A month went by and still no sign of Jaxson. Since school is starting soon the last search party is today there is less people for this search than the last search party. There is just his friends Elijah, Ethan, and Mason, mom and dad, Chole, Aiden, and I.

"Hey Chole." I said doubtful.

"Hey Steph, what's up?" She asked.

"I was wondering if you have seen the girl Naomi since the party." I answered.

"Come to think of it I haven't seen her." Chole declared.

"Ok, Let's go get this done with." I grumbled. It only took a few minutes this time. Everyone is exhausted, so we went home. When we got home, I dashed to my room and jumped on my bed, and I screamed into my pillow.

"Are you ok, Steph I know everyone is stressed." Aiden questioned.

"I'm just so done with this and tired of everything." I replied. "I'm also worried about Jaxson. Where the hell could he be." I screamed.

"Steph, calm down everything is going to be fine we are going to find Jaxson, then things can get back to normal." Aiden calmingly spoke.

"Why are you so calm?"

"With dad distance, mom depressed, and you being angry, sad, and I'm so done moods. I'm just trying to keep this family together. It breaks me that this family is falling apart." Aiden expressed.

"I'm sorry I'm just tired it been a long day." I apologize. "I'll try to be better." I added. Aiden and I talked more. Then we heard a door shut, we ran downstairs and it was dad he actually got home before dinner.

"Hey kids, I'm sorry for being distance I'll try to be better. Go tell your mom that dinner will be done in 30 minutes." Dad stated.

"Ok, what up with you?" I asked. He never responded so I rushed upstairs and went to mom's room.

"Mom, dinner will be done in 30 minutes." I exclaimed.

"Who is cooking and what is dinner?" Mom replied.

"Dad came home and start to cook, and it's your favorite cheese burger and French fries. Come on get out of bed and come eat." I encouraged her. I help her out of bed. Then we walked downstairs and we waited for dinner to be done. After 20 minutes dinner was done everyone ate like we haven't ate in days.

"Thanks, Hunny dinner was amazing." Mom praised.

"How is everyone?" Dad asked.

"Dad are you ok, you're cheerful." Aiden said all confused.

"I'm good, I did some thinking and I felt distance and I wanted to become closer." Dad cheered.

"Ok, I'm done so I'm going upstairs." I darted upstairs into my bedroom. I flopped on my bed and I scrolled through Instagram. After 5 minutes Aiden walk in.

"Hey, are you ok?" Aiden questioned worried. "You need to calm down, I think you should go take a walk that normally helps.

"I'm just worried and stressed. Dad is cheerful and it scares me and school is soon." I snapped. "I'm going for walked." I rushed out the houses and dashed down the street. After walking 3 blocks I turned back. I reached home and opened the door nobody was downstairs. There was an envelope on the floor. There is no return address and no name on it. I didn't open it I ran upstairs and I put it under my pillow. The next day we all slept in till 10 in morning. Dad still cheerful, mom still depressed, but since dad is stays home more mom been getting better, and me still with my random mood swings. I been getting a bit better. Aiden is still calm he been checking up on everyone, he just wants to make sure everyone is ok. Tomorrow is school and I am anxious and stressed out. Today just dragged. Aiden and I woke up early to go to school.
