******Y/N POV*******
My morning alarm blares over my head and I lazily grab at it to snooze it for another 5 minutes. The bedroom door opens as my best friend who is, unfortunately, also my roommate comes to drag me from my comfy slumber. A glorious smell of coffee permeates my nose and I grumble my protests at her.
"Get up we have to leave for class!" She scolded me. The sound of ceramic on the nightstand made me peek from the cover over my head.
"Don't wanna..." I croak back. A scream escapes my throat as she drags me off the bed to the floor.
"You are NOT making me miss finding out who is guest lecturing today!" She huffs and goes to my closet to pick out an outfit for me in hopes to speed up my routine. Her anxiety makes me giggle.
"Bruh, we've danced for how many idols, on how many award stages?" I sit up and grab my coffee purring slightly at the warmth radiating from the mug. "Besides, class isn't for another 45 minutes, and whoever this fancy-schmancy person is probably couldn't teach us more than we don't already know." Her nostrils flare as she huffs and rolls her eyes. She throws an outfit at me and I giggle at her again.
***TIME SKIP***
We walk through the doors to our studio and greeted some of the other dancers from the group as they got there as well. Looking around there was an excited buzz in the air as the collective gossip flitted from group to group talking rumor. The group particularly close to where we had parked to begin stretching was discussing who would be coming in today. You couldn't help overhearing what was said.
"Maybe he'll be even more handsome in person." One girl gushed. He? We never really have male leads come in.
"I heard he is! AND... he. is. single." Another voice speaks up emphasizing the ending and muted screeching came from the group. So it was an idol coming, but who?
The studio door opened and a tall, slender, doe-eyed man stepped through with a few other people trailing behind him. They were not here for the exercises so I guessed they were his staff. I rolled my eyes. What kind of grown-ass man needs a team of people following his every move? 'Scared you'll get a little sweaty, Prince Pom-Pom?'
He had to pass between me and my friend to get to the front and as he turned his body to get by he looked down at me with his dark brown eyes and gave me a half-smile as he apologizes for having to push past. I melted a little which after a few seconds was replaced by a tiny bit of anger. How the hell did he have that effect on me with just a glance? I meet my friend's eyes and she looks shaken to her very core.
"He walked right between us!" She panicked and smacked me in the arm. "Chae Hyungwon of Monsta-friggin-X walked between us... and spoke to you. H-he spoke to you!" She whisper-yelled at me.
"Ouch! He's just a person." I say back to her, "And stop hitting me you psycho!" I push her off of me and accidentally look towards the front locking eyes with him again. His eyebrow jerked a little as if he thought the interaction he just saw was comical.
