Birds of Prey vs Gotham City Sirens

Chapter 2:

Dinah Lance and Helena Bertinelli AKA the Black Canary and Huntress, return to the Clocktower to find it's been completely uprooted. They investigate further and agree that the one responsible for Barbara disappearing is none other than Poison Ivy. Just then Helena finds Oracle's glasses, picking them up she sees that one lens is shattered while the other has a red lipstick kiss smeared on it. They both look at each other and utter the same thing, "Harley..."

Huntress clicks away at Oracle's computer, icing a head injury she suffered during her previous encounter with Catwoman while Dinah paces back and forth.

"There has to be someone who can help us find Barbara." Dinah says clearly frustrated.

"Batman and Robin are off on a special mission, Nightwing is tied up with the Titans, and the Justice League is already spread too thin." Helena explains.

Annoyed by her ignorance on their last mission. Black Canary blames herself for not knowing Catwoman was a distraction. Dinah balls up her fists and lets out a supersonic Canary Cry. Her scream catches Huntress off guard and blows a hole in the roof. Huntress slams her hands on the desk infront of her and snaps at Dinah, "Get a grip!"

"This is our fault!" Exclaims Canary.

"No, it's the bad guys fault. Now what would the Gotham City Sirens want with Barb?" Asks Helena as she searches on the computer for Oracle's location.

"Well Harley's ex Joker is the one who shot and paralyzed Barbara maybe she wants to finish the job to impress him." Canary says.

Barbara opens her eyes to find Harley, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy standing in front of her in what looks to be an abandoned building. She struggles against the ropes binding her hands to a chair. Harley laughs wildly at the sight of Oracle so helpless.

"Give if a break Babs, we all know you're not going anywhere... My mista J made sure of that." Harley cackles.

"Still obsessed with that madman, pathetic." Snaps Barbra.

"My puddin' and I will be back together just as soon as your out of the way." Harley says with a sinister smile.

Selina cuts in saying, "You never said the plan was to hurt her."

Poison Ivy interjects with, "What you thought we wanted to have a tea party with the old Batgirl? No, Batgirl is dead and soon Barbara Gordon will be too."

"Then I'll take my payment and be leaving."Selena says extending out her hand.

"What lost the nerve pussycat?" Harley giggles playfully, twirling a section of her blonde hair with colorful blue and red tips.

"Selina won't hurt me because she knows Batman would never forgive her." Oracle explains, squinting her eyes slightly.

"Whatever, she played her part." Harley says pulling out a flash drive.

"This flash drive contains sensitive information from Oracle's computer about members of the Justice League. Should be worth a lot on the black market." Harley adds handing Catwoman the flash drive.

Dinah and Helena are back at what's left of the Clocktower. Helena somehow manages to get Oracle's computer working again. Dinah watches over with a look of concern as she bites on her lower lip softly. Huntress finally gets an emergency signal out to the Justice League. ... Wonder Woman answers eventually and the two sigh with relief.

"Wonder Woman here, what's the emergency?" Diana asks.

"Barbara has been kidnapped by the Gotham City Sirens, we need the Justice League to send someone who can help us locate her." Answers Canary.

"I understand, I'll see what I can do." Replies Wonder Woman.

A few hours later a giant purple cloud of mystical energy begins to form in front of Black Canary and Huntress. The two stand up ready to fight. The dark cloud gets bigger and bigger before a shadowy figure can be seen within the swirling smog. Out steps a woman with a top hat; Zatanna. She dusts her shoulders off before flashing them a smile.

"Nice entrance but what took you so long?" Dinah asks folding her arms.

"Sorry, you know... demons, terrible creatures. The Justice League Dark and I just took down a whole dimension full of the pesky little suckers. Word on the street is you need help finding someone, so I'm your girl." The magician explains.

"Zatanna can you cast a locator spell to find Oracle?" Huntress asks with a serious tone.

"Of course I'll just need something personal of hers." Replies Zatanna.

Helena hands her Barbara's glasses and asks, "Will these help?"

Barbara waits for the right moment to pull out her Batarang she took from the Clocktower when she was taken. She begins to cut the rope that binds her hands to the chair. Once freed she takes aim at Catwoman. Oracle still remembers how to throw like Batgirl even without her glasses.

Just as Selina is about to leave a giant purple cloud of mystical energy begins to form behind Oracle. Barbara suddenly throws her Batarang and knocks the flash drive out of Catwoman's hands before she can leave. Catwoman runs off to find her payment. The Birds of Prey finally arrive with Zatanna as Oracle crawls off in the direction of the flash drive.

"Get em Ivy!" Yells Harley.

Everyone jumps into action. Poison Ivy causes huge Venus fly trap like plants to sprout up in front of Zatanna. The magician quickly pulls out her wand.

"Nrub eht stnalp." Utters Zatanna as she waves her wand around.

All of a sudden Ivy's plants begin to burn slowly turning to ash. Pamela cries out in pain. Harley tries to run over to her friend but Dinah stops her by hitting her with a supersonic Canary Cry. Oracle gets to the flash drive just before Catwoman. It was then that Huntress steps in between them.

"What want round two?" Snickers Selina.

"Don't get cocky, this won't be like last time." Helena says gripping her crossbow tightly.
