Specter's POV:
Cala stares at me blankly, as if she hadn't heard anything, but Hilda was giving me a death stare. She hadn't made any move to leave yet, though. She was waiting for me to say something.
"I mean, congrats on dating, I guess." I nervously laughed. "That was a little fast. Hah." Hilda's face softened a little, but she was still frowning.
"Yeah, I was planning on breaking up with Cags for a while. And you?"
And me? What did that mean? What do I and think of Cagney? I think I like him, that's was I think. In fact, I know I like him.
"And.. me? I'm doing good."
There was an awkward silence. Cala stared at me some more, still not saying anything.
