16. End Her

Adya: "How could you do this?"

Akhil stopped in his tracks and looked at Adya.

Akhil: "What do you mean?"

Adya: "Did you even bug my phone?"

Akhil: "Oh no no why would I do that? I just wanted to save you from Neel. That's it. And tomorrow I will take you to the Rajya Sabha."

Adya did not want that.

One thing was clearer than anything to Adya that the most safe she was ever in her life was this whole time she was with Neel.

She never felt so much safer in her life. That man alone could save her from all possible threats and dangers. She did not had to roam around with guards around her.

When she was with him she didn't give a shit about the world. She did not had to care about what others thought about her. She was herself.

She could be her real self around him. Wether he liked it or not it was his problem.

No one told her to do anything, no one told her how she should sit, eat, walk and talk. No one forced her to go anywhere. She could eat as much as she want and sleep as much as she wanted.

Adya knew very well if she went back to her mother her life would become hell again and she did not want that.

Adya ran towards Akhil and hugged him tightly and started crying.

Akhil pretty taken aback wrapped his arm around her and patted her back.

Adya: "Thank you for saving me! Thanks a lot!"

Akhil: "It was my duty Adya. When no one came to save you, i did. You know very well I'm the one for you right?"

Adya: "Yes i know. You're the only one I need Akhil."

Adya kept crying as Akhil picked her up and put her in the bed.

Akhil: "Let's get married as soon as possible Adya. Then no one would be able to seperate us."

After Akhil left the room Adya took her phone and immediately texted Neel.

"I'm safe. Do not contact me until I reach out to you."

Neel saw the text and immediately a wave of relief washed over him.

He knew very well that Adya was as cunning as a fox.

He also knew that Adya will come back to him. She has to. Even if she did not want to.

The very next day the news of Akhil taking back Adya from Neel Rathore hit the headlines.

Other than that there was also a news released by Neel Rathore himself explaining whatever happened with a video proof.

But the public was divided.

Even though people were happy about Adya being safe and coming back, most people were furious towards Akhil.

Just because Neel Rathore stood him up for a dinner, Akhil decided to kidnap Adya from him when he could have taken her peacefully.

What Akhil did was clearly illegal.

One of Akhil's ex-classmate even came forward and said that the Twitter account that posted the video of Neel Rathore was actually Akhil's account.

Soon the people pretty much added up the whole story.

Adya sat in the car with her mother.

Her mother looked at her and scoffed.
