No One's POV
One week later...
It was now close to midnight and Killua had to take a extra class for today. He wasn't that happy about it. Although he wants to be a witch, Alluka would still be waiting for him to come home, or she was asleep, which is what Killua hoped.
Damn it. Alluka must be waiting for me and this class doesn't end untill 2 in the fucking morning! Killua thought, cursing himself for falling asleep in class.
Killua didn't have such a good sleep the night before, and because he slept through the flying class, Killua had to take in by midnight. He knew the stances, but now he had to learn how to actually collect a target and fly it. He had to pay attention or else he wouldn't be able to get to Alluka by 5 am.
"Now, everyone hop on you brooms. Once you done that, pick a piece of paper from the hat." His flying teacher, Mr. Kurapika, instructed making a black hat with paper inside appear.
Once everyone picked a paper, Mr. Kurapika explained the rules.
"This is like a scavenger hunt. There will be no prizes except the item you're hunting for. I will sprinkle some flying dust on your broom and you may go and find you're item. You only hav-" Mr. Kurapika got cut off by some of the students already leaving. He sighed and continued his sentance.
"As I was saying, you only have two hours to find you're item. If you fail to find the item, you fail this semester. Dismissed."
Two hours?! How am I supposed to find a Aeonium Lily Pad in two hours? Aeonium Lily Pad's are only undeground guarded by the gnomes! I am so failing this class. Killua thought, stressing out.
Gnomes look tiny and harmless, but they are one of the most dangerous creatures on Fantasy Island. They can curse you if you even step foot in their territory without their consent. They can make your life a living hell. Even though Killua thinks he's going to fail, he goes for it anyway. Better to try than not try at all.
Killua started flying looking for anything that looks like a Aeonium Lily Pad. Sadly, he wasn't looking for where he was going, and got bombed. Green gas had filled Killua's area, and no matter where he went it would follow.
"F-fuck..." Killua coughed. The sky went out. Killua couldn't see. Infact, he was sleeping.
"Serves him right. That's what he gets for joining this school. If you aren't a natural born witch, you aren't a witch at all." A kid laughed flying away.
"Hey nice job Ethan!" A girl exclaimed, giving him a kiss.
"Anything for you babe," Ethan said.
Ethan's buddy, Careen, popped up behind him.
"Looks like he's not a high witch anymore guys." Careen commented, then added something. "We better find our items or else we're going to fail like Killua."
Ethan and his girlfriend, Elana, nodded then they split up.
Killua's POV
"Argh..." I said, sitting up.
I put my hand on my head and looked around me. I spotted something, or some-elf with my broom.
"Hey! What the hell are you doing?" I shouted at them.
They looked at me then hesitated.
"Who the fuck are you?" I asked.
They hesitated again.
"If you don't answer I'm going to you." I threatned. This time they moved.
"Uhm... hi. I'm a elf. I am not comfortable telling you my name, but I was fixing your broom. You crashed here because someone put a smoke bomb timer on your broom. I decided to help you since you were unconscious. You're welcome." The elf replied.
I then remembered the two hour time limit, and my item.
"How long have I been unconscious?" I asked.
Oh God, I so failed this. I mean, I would've failed in the first place, but it's probably been five hours! I thought, clenching my fists.
"It's been a hour. I helped you a bit..." The elf told me.
One hour?! Who is this guy? A witch? Wait no... he can't be a witch if he's a elf. Elves can't be witches.
"Oh. Also here. I saw it on a piece of paper you had. Do you by any chance go to Witch High?" The elf asked, handing me the Aeonium Lily Pad.
I was shocked. How the fuck did he get the Aeonium Lily Pad.
"Uh... yeah." I replied. They got me the item I was looking for. I know not to talk to strangers but still. It's a repayment.
They nodded and then something.
"Here. Follow this path. It should lead you back there before two hours, if that's the time limit. Take your broom with you." They said, making the trees a border to a path.
I took a moment to look at the path then turned around to say something to the elf, but they were gone.
"Thanks I guess," I whispered following the path with my things.
When I arrived, I was the first one there and I surprised my teacher. Again. For the second time this month.
"Uh, wow. Y-you passed Killua..." Mr. Kurapika said.
I grinned and left to go back to Alluka.
The weird elf who helped Killua POV
That kid, he's interesting. A kid with superpowers is training to be a witch.. That's new. I thought.
Eh. Why should I care. He's not coming back anyway. Better get on with my life. I reassured myself.
I'm not sure why I was doing that because I'm sure that this kid is going to come back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello! I would like to thank khychii for following me! Also, can ya'll guess who that elf is??? I bet you know who it is. In my desc. I said that Gon was the last earth elf, but instead he's a multi-elf, which you will learn more about. I think this is my first chapter past 1000 words :D I might make another chapter today, idk. Anything in the human world that I say is rare or hard to find in these chapters might not be real. Not everything in this story is on earth, clearly, but the Aeonium Lily Pad is real on earth but I don't know if it's rare. Ty for listening!
Stay hydrated, eat, and enjoy your day!
