Suki's POV

"SUKIIIIII!!!" 

Kotoko barged into my room. She practically startled me.

Well "barged" isn't really the term.

She knocked and let herself in.

But.. either way.. I fell off my hammock.

"Ahh.. hey Kotoko what's up?"

"IMMM FINISHED!!!" She held up a duck plushie.

"AHIRUUU-CHANN!!" I was relieved as I nearly snatched the plushie out of Kotoko's hands, "THANK YOU SOOO MUCH KOTOKO!!"

Without thinking, I  hugged Kotoko.

"Awww.. it's no problem Suki!!"

I smiled.

I still felt kinda awful from earlier in the day.

"Sooo uhh.. Kotoko! Do you wanna hang out today??" I asked Kotoko.

"Ah!! Sorry Suki but I promised Nagisa that I'd 'read books' with him or something. He seemed pretty alone so I decided to help him out!" Kotoko smiled, "We can hang out later though!! Hehe!"

Inside, I was disappointed.

"Oh it's not problem!" I lied, "Have fun hehe!"

"Bye Suki! See ya!!"

"See you Kotoko!"

I waved at her as she left the room.

I then looked down to the floor, and then to Ahiru-Chan.

It was clear that she went through some sorta accident, tons of stitches were ingrained into the.. "feathers" of Ahiru-chan's body.

What exactly do you call the fur stuff on stuffed animals??

I thought about that for sometime.

I then hugged Ahiru-chan and layed on the floor, looking at the ceiling fan.

The ceiling fan, was er.. spinning.

I sighed and closed my eyes, thinking of yesterday.

What.. even was that..?

...

Did.. someone really hurt Ahiru-chan?

I shook my head.

It would be better if I thought about this later..

The next thing I knew, someone was poking me.

Dangit.. did I fall asleep or some shit?

"Sukiii?? Are you okay?? You're sleeping on the floor so I just wanted to make sure..."

I opened my eyes to see the masked wonder himself, Jataro.

"Oh Heya Jataro! I must've fallen asleep on this very comfortable floor!!" I put my hand behind my head.

"I don't like floors... they're dirtyy.." Jataro played with his sleeves, "Did you know that a person can shed about 1.5 million flakes of skin a hour?? Most of that falls on floors and stuff.."

I blinked at him, "That sounds cool!!"

He blinked at me.

"Huh?! How do you find that cool...? Jataro looked shocked.

"Wellllll.." I sat up, "I didn't know that! And that sounds coool!!"

Jataro looked at me.

"How come you find everything I say 'cool' Suki..? I try to come up with the most weirdest things to say and you still find it cool.." Jataro looked off to the distance.
