I am here to give you my opinions about our absolutely loved Cinematic universe marvel! I like to focus on comics so my opinions can also be considered as comic opinions!
Black widow is one of the most loved mcu characters. She was portrayed by Scarlett Johansson. But the MCU decided not just to absolutely ruin her amazing backstory, as many of you may have read, but to create a literally "different" character than the classic ruthless, fearless and full of action black widow. Not to mention that her name in the mcu is also changed.Natalia alianova Romanoff (mcu. They make it cannon at Captain America:The winter soldier) and in the comics she is named Natalia aliamova romanova. Of course this isn't a big change but lets just start from the details and end up on the disaster the mcu made. I want to mention that I don't actually slander the mcu! Its enjoyable and without it i wouldn't have a "comic" opinion. I am just telling you the difference between the Cinematic universe and the Comic universe.
Black widows love interests: In the comics, black widow had many love interests such as Daredevil, Hawkeye, Red guardian etc. Her main love interest in my opinion in the comics is the winter soldier. James Buchanan Barnes (we are going to talk about him in the next chapters). But in the mcu black widow has Bruce banner (Hulk) and Captain America as her love interests. That isn't a complete change! But they influenced her character a lot for sure. I like how Natasha was portrayed in Iron Man 2 and in Avengers.But for sure her appearance in Age of Ultron wasn't good.The directors only focused on how she will develop a romantic relationship with bruce and not her fighting skills. We didn't have as many fight scenes as other films! Atleast the red room back flash was great.
Black widows family. I don't have that much of a comic knowledge to her family. I think it's unknown as it is in the mcu. The thing i know for sure tho is that she had a very close father relationship with wolverine. In the mcu they made her love interest to be her DAD!!! HER DAD. Alexei was originally black widows ex-husband in the comics and look! In the mcu they made him her father. That sounds really funny to my ears tho.

As we see he would marry her again if he didn't hate her (bye bitch nat ate). This is RIDICULOUS! Why didn't you show us Alexei as her ex boyfriend? It would have been for sure better! Since we didn't got a black widow trilogy , which I am really sad about ,we should atleast have gotten a relationship with bucky or alexei. I liked how they portrayed the red room to be honest. It deserved more screen time. But what the fuck is happening with her sister?
Black widows sister. Yelena Belova Yelena. I love her. She is one of my favourite characters. I would love to see her as the villain in black widow. Like we deserved to see! Because in the comics Yelena was an assassin. A deadly one. The deadliest black widow. She joined many criminal organisations. So why make her so soft in black widow? She deserved to be the villain AT LEAST for half of the movie.It was pointless to make her ruth after Natashas death since she hates her really much in the comics and is a mf deadly assassin.
