Chapter one

FLASHBACK

" I can't believe your accusing me of cheating on you , Angel."

" how can I not? Your always with this Mads girl. Who even is she , jaden? Your friend? Cause I know friends aren't all over each other like that."

" SHE IS A FRIEND!"

" I'm done. Your always lying when it comes to her , we're done. Bye Jaden , hope you two are happy."

TWO MONTHS LATER

It's been two months since the breakup. Angel and Jaden never contacted each other. Angel thinks Jaden did get together with Mads , and it wouldn't be a surprise if they did. Angels been focusing on herself , trying too. Part of her misses him , but at the same time , she despises him.

She didn't know personally who Mads was , all she did know was that she liked Jaden , and he obviously like her. After all that , Angel moved in with her best friend , Nessa barrett. They've been best friends since she moved to LA , she was the one who introduced her to Jaden.

Right now , the two besties were sitting in the living room on their phones. It was a Friday night.

" omg!" Nessa spoke , shocked.

" What is it?" Angel asked , turning to her best friend.

" I knew it wasn't a surprise." Nessa said , annoyed as she rolled her eyes.

" what?" Angel asked , confused.

" look." Nessa said , handing her phone to Angel , who grabbed it.

" like it's a surprise to me , it never was. I knew they had something and it's only been two months , told you ness." Angel laughed , in a annoyed way.

" girl I introduced you to him , can't believe I did that." Nessa laughed , causing Angel to laugh as well.

" whatever , he had the audacity to tell me they were just friends. Two months later , their sleeping in the same bed." Angel giggled.

" I'm gonna laugh to hard when he cheats on her , let her taste karma." Nessa spoke , as Angel agreed.

" same girl. Hey , I'm calling it a night. See you tomorrow morning." Angel sighed , as she left the couch and headed to her room.

She closed her door , and changed into her night clothes. She never got the chance to return Jadens hoodies , so she kept them. Some nights , she sleeps in them. She got into bed and opened her phone , she hasn't been active on any social media since then , mostly because she doesn't want to see any news about the break up or him and Mads.

She still thinks about the first time they met , it was at the sway house. Nessa introduced her to him , and it's like they immediately fell in love , they started hanging out , joking and laughing together. That's what she misses , she hasn't had that spark since then. She barely laughs anymore , the only time she's happy is when she's with Nessa. Cause she's angels only memory of him.

Angel didn't realize she was tearing up. She does miss Jaden , she can't stand the thought of him laughing with Mads , joking around , or holding her , kissing the same lips as Angel did. She hates that , she hates her. But all Angel could think or say , is that she knew it would happen. And that's why she broke up with him.

" Angel , are you crying?" Nessa asked , opening the bedroom door.

" no , I'm not." Angel defended.

" yes , you are. Look , I know you miss him. But just remember , he hurt you by cheating with Mads. Girl he downgraded , she's not even near as pretty as you. To make you feel better , he's probably cheating on her , ok that may sound stupid. But who knows , sooner or later he'll realize his mistake. Don't cry over him , he broke your heart." Nessa explained , Angel wiped her eyes.

" thanks ness , I love u." She smiled , weakly.

" I love u too , Angel." Nessa smiled , leaving as she closed the door behind her.

Angel decided it's best to go to sleep now.
