"Oh look, the freak is late for breakfast, what a surprise." Nia said.

"Just leave me alone I don't want any trouble." I said trying to move past them.

Tatum got ahold of my upper arm jerking me back. "Going somewhere." She said staring into my eyes. Her blue eyes glaring into mine.

Then all of the sudden Rowan closed her fist and smacked it into my jaw. I tumbled to the ground and watched the 3 of them began to kick my sides. Everyone began to gather around.

I felt my eyes go black and I began to feel stronger. I rose to my feet and then all the lights went out. I saw myself glow as I looked at my hands. A yellow ball began to glow brighter and get bigger. I reached out and shot each section of girls. Then I stopped glowing and the lights came back on.

I couldn't see any of the girls. Everyone was gone: even Marlow. Scraps of paper tumbled across the cold floor. I fell to the floor and cried. But then I realized that this was my chance to escape. I got up from the cold floor and started to walk through the door.

I saw a man rush up to me and I began to run away but it was too late because he had grabbed my wrist.

"Are you Hadley, Hadley Michaels?" he asked as he struggled to hold on to me.

I stopped struggling for a moment and answered him."Yes and who might you be?" I said unsure who he was.

"I am William......... Tend." he said sounding a bit unsure of himself.

"Are you sure about that?" I asked him.

"Yes I was sent here by a Seedrem Klen. He owns this camp for people like us.

"What do you mean like us?" I said looking confused.

"I saw what you can do and you are very powerful." he started pulling me in closer.

"But everyone that saw me disappeared ." I said.

"I know, they did but like I said I am like you." He said directly over my lips.

"Oh. So why are you here?" I said taking a step back.

"Well I am here to train you and get your gift under control." he said rubbing his neck.

"I think I can handle myself just fine, thanks." I said beginning to walk away.

"Oh yeah? Then how come all those people disappeared?" he said

I stopped in my tracks and then began to cry into my hands.

"Don't cry I was just trying to prove——-

"I don't need to hear it, I know what you meant, so when do we start." I said wiping away the last tear.

"Well we have to travel to a certain place but you need to get packed first." he said.

"Okay let me go to my room and pack; help yourself to whatever you like." I said heading up the stairs into the room.

"Okay." he said walking into the kitchen.

I walked into the room and shut the door lightly.

I got my backpack and put one pair of clothes in it and then put my phone and notebook.

No why was I going with him. He was just some stranger and he just expected me to follow him.

I get on top of my bed and take the air shield on the air vent and lifted myself up through it. I barely fit but that was enough that I managed to get through and I started to crawl out of the building.

I had been planning this escape plan for months and

I managed to get out of the building and out of the vent but it was no use.

William was there.

"Damn it" I said under my breath.

"Yeah, unlike you, I am not able to make people disappear but I can control the mind." He says nonchalantly.

"Oh well that is just perfect.." I said.

"Yeah." He says as he scratches the back of his neck. "Well shall we?" he said taking my hand.
