Just Stick With Me

As I'm walking into class I see a new girl sitting at a desk next to mine, I walk to my desk and sit down she looks upset about something and is kind of shaking I wanted to see what was wrong so I said...

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked

"I'm fine" she said with a shaking tone

Then after that there was a long silence, I then asked...

"What's your name?, my name is Ada"

"My name is Delilah" she said

"Are you new here? I've never seen you in here before"

"Yes, I just transferred here" she said in a less shaking tone

I can tell she was becoming more calm the more we started talking, I can tell she started to warm up to me. After that Mrs. Luella came in the room...

"Good morning students" Mrs. Luella says

"Good morning Mrs. Luella" said the class

After that she does role call, everyone seems to be in class but then she says Delilahs name...

"Delilah?" Said Mrs. Luella

"Here" said Delilah

"Your new here right?, Come up here and introduce yourself to the class"

Delilah walks up to the front of the class, as she looks up at the class she gets nervous and shaking of fear as she looks at the school bully's Rachel and her sinner friends Naomi and Zoe. They then start whispering and laughing while looking at Delilah, Delilah then decides to introduce herself.

"Hi, my name is Delilah I'm 17 and I just moved here from Alabama for my mom's work" said Delilah in a shaking tone again

"Did you really move here for your mom's work or did you move here because of your dad and his boyfriend" said Rachel

Rachel and her friends then started to laugh, and Delilah's lips start to quiver and her doe eyes are getting watery.

Mrs. Luella tells Delilah that she can now go back to her seat, I tell her...

"Don't worry about them, just stick with me and they'll leave you alone" I said

"Are you sure?" She said

"I promise"
