Today was the day you had been waiting for for several months. It was 5am and you and your best friend BFF/N were already sitting in the train, on your way to the concert venue.
Exactly 7 months ago you had spend all your money on not only tickets for your favorite band, but also a meet and greet with Brendon Urie himself. The man you had been in love with ever since you were a teenager, who, with his music had helped you through a lot.
"Only 3 more stops until we reach the venue," BFF/N said. "Do you think we'll be first in line?" You rolled your eyes. "I hope we are but it's questionable, we're not the only crazy fans," you laughed. It all still felt very unreal, until you arrived to the venue.
"Holy fuck," BFF/N gasped. "We're like 7th in line!" You both jumped and let out a high pitched squeal, and ran to the venue, where you layed out the blankets that you had brought along with you and threw your bags on the floor. It didn't take long for the other people in line to include you and BFF/N in their conversations, and pretty soon you had made some new friends.
As much fun as the day was, all you could think about is seeing your idol. It was exciting, but knowing yourself and how chaotic you could be, you were also quite nervous for how you would react when you stood eye to eye with your favorite celebrity. BFF/N sensed your nervousness and pulled you in for a hug. "Big day isn't it!" She smiled. "Do I look okay?" You asked. Seeing all the gorgeous people in line, having a way better make up and fashion sense than you had made you self conscious. You were wearing ripped stockings, with a black skirt, a MCR top paired with some chunky dr. Martens. Your hair was in a messy ponytail and you really tried your best on the make up, but it just looked pretty boring compared to everyone else. "Shut up, you look fucking hot Y/N," BFF/N grinned. "You are effortlessly pretty, you don't got a thing to worry about."
As you and BFF/N had finished ur iced coffee, the line had become sturdy. People had slowly began to stand up and move around and you two followed their example. It was only 25 minutes before the doors opened, and you counted every single minute of them.
"10,9,8,7......" the line began to count the last minute down, and all you and BFF/N could do was smile at each other like a bunch of idiots while screaming along with them. "1!" The loud cheering made you realize how many people were behind you in line now. The venues security guards opened up the doors, pulled out their machines to scan the tickets and slowly lifted the string that was attached to both sides of the door to create an entrance. It was about to begin.
