How you meet .

Slenderman 》

You were running away from your bullies , they had chased you into the woods .
You had a feeling something bad might happen that day , and damnit . . You should have listened to your gut .
But of course it was too late , you couldn ' t turn back time either so these were consequences of your actions .

" Oh come on out Y/N !! "

One of the females had called out to you . Yes , there were some females , , and males that were bullying you and had been for a while .
It was pretty bad at the start yeah , but never have they chased you . .
You managed to get a rather good headstart with running away from them , so you hid behind a tree . . Placing one of your own hands over your mouth to keep your heavy breathing quiet .
You were leaning against the tree you were hiding behind , hoping and begging for them to just go away . . Of course you kept your thoughts to yourself as to not let them hear you .
When things went quiet , you figured it was safe to come out now and head back home .
Oh how wrong you were . .
The second you stood up from sitting behind the tree , you felt a hand grab your shoulder and yank you down to the ground .
Hitting the cold and wet dirt , leaf ' s and sticks . . You gave up and just laid there , the most you did was curl up into a ball and cover your head as best as you could .
Of course they had all started kicking you , calling you a ' Nonbinary freak . '
So that was why they bullied you . . You began to think they were right , that you were just a freak .
Tears welled up in your eyes and just as you wanted to not exist in that moment the kicking had come to a halt .
You hesitated for a moment before slowly uncovering your head and looking around . . The second you did that ' s when you heard the screams of your bullies .
What looked to be tentacles had pierced through their chests , and when they stopped moving they were dropped to the cold and wet ground .
You were terrified , following the tentacles to see who they belonged too . . Where you then saw a tall figure , it didn ' t have a face but was wearing a black suit, a red tie and matching black dress shoes .
You then looked around to see all your bullies had been brutally murdered right before your eyes , you even had some blood splattered onto you .
You wanted to scream but couldn ' t and you were glad you didn ' t end up screaming , because the tall figure held out a hand to you which you accepted and he helped you up to your feet .

" I ' m Slenderman . Now , we will meet again , , Y/N . "

With that he had let go of your hand and walked off into the woods . Leaving you a confused mess , but even so you made your way back home. . -

You were currently at home .
Having dinner with your father , yes , , just your father .
You actually had a very loving and accepting dad and he was all you had after you had gotten away from your mother whom was an abusive alcoholic . . You were just glad to be having dinner with your dad like old times when you were a kid , sure you were a teenager now but it still meant a lot to you both .
You had no siblings , you were the only child actually . But you were happy that way .

You had finished your dinner first and figured since you did maybe you could get some sleep a few hours early . You had stood up from where you sat , pushing in your chair and washing your dish in the sink .
You then turned over to look at your father , smiling a bit since you had put the plate in the dish drainer to dry .

" I ' m gonna go to bed , dad . "

You told him . And he just gave a nod in return .
You went over to him and gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek as you usually did .

" Goodnight dad , love you . "

You said happily and made your way upstairs , but before you did your father returned the hug and kiss . Telling you goodnight and that he loved you as well .
You had went to your room , and let out a soft sigh of relief . . You felt tired but weren ' t too sure if you ' d be able to fall asleep .
You did have insomnia after all , and at times it was difficult to sleep . But , you ' d still try to sleep anyways , , no harm in that , right ??
You changed into your pajamas after closing your bedroom door , climbing into your bed and right under the covers .
A sigh left your lips again , it felt so nice to be in your bed again .
It was just so damn comfortable .
You reached over and clicked off your lamp that was on your bedside table , turning onto your side and facing the wall that was to your right .
Your bed was in the corner of your room so of course one side of the bed was up against the wall . . Not that you minded , you felt less paranoid that way .
