✩ ◛ ° ▮ inyeon cafe — directly translated to destiny cafe — was founded and owned by married couple and longtime residents of seoul, yang minjun and yoona. the yangs, along with the other employees were extremely well-mannered and sweet. the cafe had been a popular hotspot for students to do their schoolwork or grab a quick cup of coffee with a croissant on the side in the mornings.
✩ ◛ ° ▮ september 2021 . . . seoul was hit with a particularly bad thunderstorm that resulted in a flood. many businesses and homes were affected as a result. the inyeon cafe was completely destroyed and the family was devastated. they had to lay off all their employees and look for different jobs while they strived to mend their hard work. they wouldn't give up — the cafe would be back up, no matter what.
✩ ◛ ° ▮ their determination paid off! almost a year later, in june of 2022, the yang family announced that the inyeon cafe would be up and running again! many people were delighted, as they had missed the cafe dearly. there was only one problem: most of their past employees either had new jobs or moved out of seoul. the cafe desperately needed new people to take on the work of the previous employees! and so the notices were put out . . .
WE ARE HIRING! Inyeon Cafe is looking for bright, potential employees! Must be at least eighteen years old and have the passion to work. Previous experience with coffee making is not required, as we will teach you the basics. We are searching for people who can potentially fill these roles : baristas, dessert makers, hall manager, cashier, dishwasher, chalkboard artist, and others that can be negotiated.
