I was walking in the school building because I was late to class listening to a true crime podcast and scrolling through my phone on Instagram when I suddenly bumped into a familiar face.
"Takemichi?"
I said to the boy that bumped into me
I suddenly saw two figures walking up to Takemichi one was with long blond hair that was only tied at the top. The other one had his head shaved on the sides and back to expose his signature dragon tattoo on his left temple. The short one had put his arm around Takemichi's shoulder.
"What are you doing out here? Has the teacher ended the lesson already?"
I said to the boy that bumped into me. I looked at him, we were both in the same class together.
"Ah..I don't know to be honest this two got me from my class"
"Hey Takemitchy, who is this?" the short boy said to takemichi.
"She is one of my classmates, Y/n l/n " He said.
"We got to go get your ass through the damn door!" The one with with the tattoo on his Temple said
"Have fun Takemichi!"
I said while snickering, putting my earbuds back in my ears and running to class waving at the three figures.
After a few minutes they got off the school grounds walking to their destination. Draken was thinking to himself as he thought the girl that Baji described was the same person that Takemichi was talking to a few minutes ago.
My brothers didn't come home from school that day as they were in another gang meeting. I always hate it when my brothers have to go do gang activities, I hated the gang that they were in. Sometimes I go and see my brothers at Vahalla’s Hideout. I wish everything can go back to normal with my brothers. If only my brother’s weren’t in a gang, maybe everything would go back to normal. Although, I do know that’s an awful lot of wishing that won’t come true. If you get in a gang most of the time you can’t get out unharmed so they are stuck in the situation without realizing in my opinion. They don’t seem dumb but they can be hardheaded sometimes, they think that Vahalla is the best opportunity to spice things up in their last teen years before becoming adults. I just think they are dumb and need to finally relize that not everything is in the order for them.
I took out my earbuds and put my phone in my pocket as I arrived at my classroom walking in the class. Everybody looked up at me, even my teacher. His scowling face made me know that he was angry about having to stop mid lesson. This had been my third time this week being tardy, I also hadn’t got my tardy slip from the office.
"Y/n! This is unacceptable behavior you're going to be detained after class for being late three times in a row this week! Where is your tardy slip from the office so I can put it in for attendence?”
My teacher said, seeking my tardy slip.
The bell had rang. Everybody was getting up from their seats to leave while Hina Tachibana was mouthing to me that she’ll wait for me outside. I was glad my best friend was waiting outside so I didn’t have to look for her after class and I could tell her the details about why I was late since she was definitely going to want to know with her Goody-Two Shoes personality.
As I walked out of the classroom after the lecture I had just had, Hina started talking immediately.
“Y/n, the craziest thing happened in the middle of class. I have to tell you all about it after your detention!”
"You can go ahead and tell me, since I'm skipping detention" I said.
"Y/nn you're going to get in trouble if you don’t go!"
Hina said as she was worried about me she didn't want me to get in trouble and have to be detained for a longer period of time.
"Eh, I don't care, let's have fun!!"
I said being carefree about how much trouble I was going to be in. Not worrying about the after effects, afterall, it’s just after school. It's not like I’m missing anything.
"Ok, it’s your fault since I warned you!" she said. Once more picking up her bag and grabbing me by my arm and rushing outside the classroom as we walked through the halls making our way to the entrance.
Whenever I hang out with Hina it feels like all the weight and pressure on my shoulders and I can be myself. I guess that’s just the type of person she is, if I had to describe her I would say she is a ball of sunshine spreading to the rest of the world.
