Important note: this chapter has historically correct information. The movie takes place around the 1000 days war which is from 1899 to 1900 something. And as we know in history some people were wed when they were anywhere between 15 and up. And correct me if I'm wrong but boys became a man whenever they were either the man of the house (there was no longer any other male in the house.) Or whenever they were of marriage age.

(Y/n)'s pov:

I pulled myself together and grabbed my bag, I handed my notebook to Dolores and she read the page it was on.

"Mama call the police."

"No don't please." I said quickly. "Dont ruin his life like that. Yes he's awful but I deserved it." I sighed before I continued. "I want to say that I'm sorry first before I tell you everything. And I also want my parents here as well." Pepa nodding before she called my house phone.

20 minutes went by and my parents walked through the door. "What's going on?" My mother said.

"I want to break off the engagement between me and Luka." My parents looked shocked. "I thought you love him" my mama said while holding little sunrise.

"I did but that was before he started being controlling and abusive. This pass weekend he raped me because me and Camilo accidentally kissed. But that was only the first time me and Camilo kissed that Luka knows about." I hugged myself. "I'm in love with Camilo..." I looked at my parents who were disappointed. I didn't even want to look at Pepa or Dolores.

"Your a slut." I heard my father say.

"There's no need to stay things like that señor (l/n)." Pepa stood up for me.

"Its okay señora Pepa, I disrespected Luka, my family and yours by my actions. I deserve everything coming my way." I was crying but I didn't want my parents to know so I hid my face.

"Dont act like your so good, you have no idea how your actions are going to look on me and your mother."

"Sir I think you should step outside." Dolores trying getting him out but my papa just looked at me in shame.

"Your a disgrace to our family. If you love Camilo so much then you can pack your shit and live with him!" My papa yelled at me before throwing a book at me. My mama just looked heartbroken.

"I can't believe you cheated on your fiancé, he loves you so much."

"Not enough to not cheat on me mama." Is the only thing I said before she left. Pepa was thundering at this point making all of us wet.

"I'm sorry, I really am." I looked at Pepa then Dolores. "I really tried not to start liking him I really did. But it was enough."

"Dolores stay here with her. I'll be back." Pepa left the room. Dolores sat down next to me.

"Dolores please don't be mad at me."

"I'm not. I was hoping you'd fall in love with each other. He loves you too. I hear him talking to himself in his room about you. These last few weeks he's been trying to deny that he likes you. Also you should really talk to him. He thinks you don't want to be with him."

"I do."

"Then go find him and tell him." She said and pushed me out of the room. Whenever I walked out I saw Luka being taken to the police station. He saw me and tried to run to me but the cops stopped him. "Baby, I love you please don't do this to me. I love you, I only do the things I do cause I love you." I rolled my eyes and walked away from him.

"We're done!" I yelled to him.

I walked down the hall before I started running.

"Camilo!" I yelled out for him. It was now 3rd period so I went to the gym. I saw everyone practicing their dances.
