"Tony? Tony answers."
Rhodes was currently fighting an enemy, but still worried about his best friend.

"Stark, what's your position?" Captain asked, finishing off the last enemies associated with Hydra.

Hawkeye came closer to the moan of pain behind the rubble, he was shocked to see Stark on the floor, bleeding and unconscious.

"Request immediate reinforcement! Iron-man is seriously injured and needs medical attention!"

He rushed over to him and checked his pulse. His breathing was weak and irregular.
"Shit.."
He saw Steve, Natasha, Rhodes and Sam getting closer.
" hold on, please.." ______________________________________

As soon as Doctor Cho came out of the room, the Avengers stood up and bombarded her with questions.

"So ?"

"He is alive ?"

"How is he doing ?"

"Can we go see him?"

"When will he wake up?"

"Did you have to operate on him?"

"How much time does he have left..."

"So calm down already! We had to operate on him, too much blood was lodged in his lung, we managed to extract a lot of it. He's fine, at least for the moment.."
Cho finished her sentence with a smaller, almost shaky voice, it was absurd to deny the fact that she had formed a friendship and affection for the billionaire.

"It's reassuring, can we go see him?"
No one took the time to be shocked that Steve actually cared about the man.

"I haven't finished, he lost too much blood, he needs it and he won't be able to handle too much sugar and glucose all at once so his body can produce more, and unfortunately none of your blood are compatible. All that keeps him alive are his own machines."
She looked at the ground, unable to look at the faces of confusion then realization then terror of the others.

"But what is his blood type, maybe some are compatible..!"
Eyes full of hope, Sam tried to lighten the mood by offering a solution.

"His Arc Reactor has made changes to his blood system. The only blood that can be compatible is biologically the same DNA, such as his parents, siblings or children..."
Explained Dr. Banner entering the room, a tired and desperate face.

The room remained silent for several minutes, until Pepper remembered something

"So anyone with the same DNA as him, even if it's not 100%, could save his life?..."
a ray of hope reached the face of the CEO of SI

"Hum... Yes, logically. But I'd be surprised that this person exists."
Not wanting to give the others false hope, Bruce responded drastically.

"Okay...So I remember a few months ago Tony looking at some things on his Arc Reactor, and we noticed that another DNA had only been added to 50% and his was no longer 100% but 150%.
She hesitated these last words, but still sure of herself.

"As if someone who had half Tony's DNA and half someone else's Like a child, and also connected to Tony's reactors..."
Bruce replied softly, thinking and understanding showing on his face.

"Wait, does that mean Tony have a kid?!"
After a few minutes, Clint finally broke the awkward silence filled with confusion and shock.

"He had several conquests, but I thought he was at least a minimum responsible"
neither steve or anyone else really know how to react.

"I believe the other DNA belongs to a Peter, but the last name is classified."
Pepper wasn't too sure anymore, she had promised Tony not to tell them, but if it was to save him..

"How old do you think he is? And how come we only know that now?!"
Sam was quite frustrated that he didn't know about this mini Stark, but after all, him and Stark hadn't spoken much after the Civil War, only sincere apologies and that was it.

"Okay, I want everyone in the meeting room in 20 minutes, in the meantime I want you to do some research on this Peter, understand?"
Steve still had that very serious boss look.

"Clint and I will deal with personal information like last name, age and mother. Try to find his address." Nathasha's voice surprised everyone, she had been silent and pensive all along, but not without a hint of concern and curiosity.

Clint nodded and followed her.

Bucky and Sam left  to who knows where, Hélène, Bruce and Pepper still talked a little
and Steve went to Tony's lab to possibly find information about Tony's relationship and his hidden son.
