I used to ship this one a lot more than I do now. It's true that they do have the same interests, but at the same time (unpopular opinion incoming) Cynthia's game personality is just a female rip-off of Steven in RSE, replacing rocks for archeology in general.
I think there's still some chemistry, but Originshipping and Mizhukishipping have clouded my shipping of this one.
