A few weeks pass by and the small family is still trying to make it to America. Melina and Natasha take turns with different jobs working for a small mafia as bodyguards. They've managed to buy different clothes for each of them, something simple not too fancy.  Melina is currently out on a job while the girls are in their small apartment. Mom should've been back by now. recently the boss asked Melina to " Take care of another rat problem" for a hefty price and of course being a mother with 3 kids she needs to feed, she accepts the job and told the girls she'll be back around sunset. Unbeknownst to her girls, Melina already targeted this small mafia knowing it was a target for one of the bigger mafia, but also knew that S.H.I.E.L.D has already had their eye on them, knowing this she hopes to get noticed enough that they'll send a messenger so that she can negotiate with them and ask them to take them to S.H.I.E.L.D and talk to their head director, Nick Fury.  The sun is almost gone from the sky and Natasha is starting to worry. Their mother is the best widow of her generation, she's never late. just then there's a knock on the at the. Natasha looks at Yelena who is currently feeding Nova and takes the bottle out of her mouth and puts her pacifier in. she quickly goes into the other room and hides herself and the baby in the closet. Natasha grabs the gun from under the table and slowly inches closer to the door. She stands to the side of the door and looks out of the peephole and sees it's her mother. Relief washes over her and she opens the door but only to find a strange man with a bow and arrows on his back. Natasha immediately reacts and points her gun at the man ready to blow his head off.

" Natasha darling no don't shoot this man is here to help us. Trust me, sweetheart put the gun down."

Natasha slowly lowers the gun but doesn't take her hand off the trigger. Melina and the strange man come into the small apartment.

"ty mozhesh' priyti Yelena! Eto bezopasno."

Yelena comes out of the room cautiously without nova. Natasha looks at her and they communicate with their eyes that nova is hidden in the closet safely. Yelena walks over to Natasha and hides behind her and takes the knife hidden in her sister's boot.

"Girls, this is Clint Barton. He's an agent from S.H.I.E.L.D, he's here to help us."

"Vy uvereny, chto my mozhem doveryat' yemu? on vyglyadit stranno"

"Hey I don't look that weird, and yes you can trust me."

Just as Natasha is about to answer Nova starts crying.

" Is that a baby?"

Natasha just rolls her eyes and goes to get nova. Yelena just keeps staring at clint with the knife from Tasha's boot. Nat comes back in with a fussy Nova trying to calm her down.

"Here dear hand her to me let me try something."

Natasha hands Nova over to her mother and Melina goes to sit down on the couch and unzips her suit. she opens it enough so that she can get one of her breasts out. Clint soon realizes what she's doing and turns around for privacy. Yelena finally starts to relax and goes to sit down beside her mother wondering what she's doing.

"What are you doing mama?"

"I've read that when babies are fussy sometimes letting them suckle on their mother's chest helps them calm down, even when the mother is not lactating."

Yelena nods and watches as Nova suckles on her mother's breast and seems to be quieting down now. she looks very content actually.

"not that this isn't a wholesome moment but would you like to discuss the matters of your transportation to America? I'd really like to help you all."
