What was this? Icy blue eyes, golden locks, porcelain skin.

It was a strange sight indeed. But you loved it.

At the moment you were standing in front of an important looking man,  as an interpreter translated what he was saying to you.

"Es ist schön, Sie kennen zu lernen Prinzessin (Y/N). Ich bin Kommandant Erwin Smith." The man said with a gentle smile.

Your interpreter, Delshad nodded and turned to you. "He said, 'It is nice to meet you Princess (Y/N). I am Commander Erwin Smith.'"

"I see he already knows my name. Well, I shall introduce myself anyways." You said to Delshad. You turned to Erwin and curtsied. "Good day, I am Princess (Y/N), seventh daughter of the King Dârayavahush and third daughter of the Queen Nahid of Persia."

Delshad repeated this to Erwin. Erwin nodded and started to talk once again.

"Sie sind eine wirklich schöne Frau, Prinzessin. Ich bete, dass keine Titanen angreifen, solange Sie hier sind. Wenn dies geschieht, wird das Militär, und ich sicher, Sie zu schützen. Ich hoffe, Sie genießen Sie Ihren Aufenthalt." Erwin said smiling. As Delshad translated, Erwin took your hand and placed a gentle kiss on it.

"You are a truly beautiful woman, Princess. I pray that no Titans attack as long as you are here. If this is to happen, the military and I will be sure to protect you. I hope you enjoy your stay."

A few days had passed since you and your father arrived in Wall Sina. You had begged your father to take you with him on a business trip away from Persia. It would be your only chance to travel and see the world, though the world was much more colder than you imagined. Instead of the scorching sun, there was a permanent cold wind that drifted throughout this walled country.

You sat facing a window of glass, looking out onto the cobblestone paths of the town. You were very bored because you were prohibited to leave the castle you now stayed in, while your father was going over trade and economics with the king.

You blew a stray strand of hair from your face and sighed. There was no one to talk to since Delshad had to accompany your father to the economics meeting and all of his guards went with him as well. All you wanted now was someone you could talk with.

As if your prayers had been answered, the opening of the door broke the silence. Footsteps advanced towards you. You turned to see Erwin with his ever present smile. "Guten Tag, Prinzessin (Y/N). Wie gehts dir so?" He looked around, searching for something. "Wo ist Delshad?"

Delshad? That and 'Prinzessin' were the only words you could recognize. "Delshad?" You asked. Erwin nodded. "He is with the king." You said.

Obviously, Erwin could not understand your Persian tongue. You tried your best to remember some of the German words Delshad taught you while you were traveling. "Delshad ist mit Ki...König Fritz[Delshad is with King Fritz]." You said stumbling over each word.

To your horror, Erwin chuckled. 'Oh God,' You though, 'did I say it wrong?'

    "Sie sprechen Deutsch?" He said.

You tilted your head, but ended up shaking your head "No". Erwin seemed to understand and nodded.

For awhile, the two of you stood there in silence. You looked up from your feet to Erwin and were immediately taken in by his features. His hair looked soft and fluffy and was the color of gold. Would it have a different texture from your own hair? Would the color rub off onto your hands? You had never seen such a color in hair. It had to be paint or something of that sort.

"Um, Erwin?" You said. He looked at you in acknowledgement.

    "Ja?"

"Can I touch your hair?" You said making a motion from you, to rubbing your fingers, to Erwin, to your hair, trying to explain.

Erwin seemed to understand as he nodded and a light blush dusted his face.

You took a step closer and stood on your tiptoes to reach the top of his head. You gently touched a lock of his hair and studied its texture and feel. You were amazed, it was silky and soft, like a duckling's feathers. The golden color did not rub off onto your fingers but stayed on Erwin's hair. You giggled. This was the most exotic thing you had ever seen, golden hair.

Your eyes traveled down and met with his gentle gaze. His eyes were the color of ice! How odd! He flashed you a small smile as you continued to stare into his orbs.

Next, you took his hand and inspected it. Everyone you had seen in the walls seemed to have fair skin, another exotic attribute. It was as if everyone dusted their whole body in powder or bathed in milk. Yet again, the color did not rub off.

Erwin's voice broke the silence, "Spaß haben, sind wir?"

You gave a slight jump, looking up at Erwin with a sheepish smile. You withdrew your hands and looked down at your feet, embarrassed.

Erwin's fingers lifted your chin, your eyes met his. "Jetzt bin ich dran." Erwin placed a thumb on your cheek, tracing small circles. He brought his face to yours, placing a tender kiss onto your lips.

    "Exotisch"
