"Aish, how did both of you end up sick?" Ten muttered after taking my temperature.

He was wearing a face mask to protect himself from the unknown illness Jaehyun and I had both acquired.

"I have to leave to work now but I'll tell Johnny to buy some medicine on his way home."

He marched back to the kitchen and began to wash his hands with soap.

"And don't forget, I left a pot of rice porridge on the stove."

"What would we do without you," I smiled at Ten as he slipped into his coat.

"Die," He bluntly responded.

I laughed, watching as he left the apartment leaving only me and Jaehyun.

I made my way to the kitchen and poured a bowl of Ten's rice porridge. After also brewing a cup of tea, I placed the porridge and tea onto a bed tray.

I knocked on Jaehyun's door before stepping into his bedroom. Unfortunately, his symptoms were a whole lot worst than mine and he was barley able to get out of bed. My guess was we contracted the sickness at the dingy restaurant we ate at after leaving the storage facility.

He sat up when he saw me enter the room.

"Ten made porridge, try to eat as much as you can." I told him while placing the tray on his bed.

"Thank's y/n-ah," He thanked me with a grateful smile.

"Hey," He called me before I could leave his room, "Do you maybe want to watch a movie with me?"

"Sure," I nodded. It's not like I had anything else to do while being stuck at home. "Choose something and I'll be back in five."

I headed back to the kitchen and also poured myself a bowl of porridge. I was reaching for a cup in the cabinet above me when I heard my cellphone ring.

I looked down and saw that it was a video call from Shao Ming. I immediately fixed my hair and made sure my necklace was visible over the black t-shirt I was wearing.

"Hi honey," I smiled into the camera after answering.

"Hi sweetheart, how are you feeling?"

I had messaged him in the morning and told him I wouldn't be able to join the weekly conference call because I was sick.

"Not too bad," I lied.

"Why do I feel like you're lying to me?"

I giggled and shook my head.

"I'm serious, you should see my roommate, he got the worst end of it."

Shao Ming let out a breathy laugh.

"I wish I could be there to take care of you but I'm happy you have your friends around. And don't worry about the marketing campaign, I got you covered."

Although he hadn't met any of my friends except Suyeon, I told him many stories about them. Perhaps it was because of Jungwoo but he never had a problem with me being close to the guys. He didn't even mind that I would be rooming with Ten and Jaehyun for a few months.

"I have to get back to work now, my father is making me join in on a new project, I'll call you back tonight."

"Don't overwork yourself and make sure you eat soon." I smiled at him.

"I love you sweetheart."

He blew a kiss into the camera and I did the same.

"Love you too."
